What did Anwar do? Nothing!
He may have made a little noise a week after Akmal's initial hate speech. He could have nipped the problem in the bud.

Let me explain how china manufacturer do business. They produced their goods in very large quantities and exports it to other parts of the world. When they want to fulfill their orders sometime a particular items is insufficient/short of that quantity. So what they do is, they will substitute with a similar design but different label/brand printed on it just to fulfill the orders. You may call this cheating/unethical but this is how they operate(of course not all the times). Or it could have been mixed up during packing in the factory. This is assuming that the socks do come from there.

I don't understand. 2 persons made undesirable comments on face book was apprehended. (Yes. They were wrong in doing so). Next an old man threatened Akmal's life. Yes. Also wrong doing. He was apprehended too. But why are the people who threw molotov bomb at 2 different outlets of KK Mart not apprehended? Finally, the person who destroyed goods in KK Mart outlet not apprehended too? The culprits were recorded on CCTV, yet none, none of them were apprehended. I didn't get to see it on news. You call this fair, where is justice? They say, let the police do their job. Spot-on analysis‼️ There's no denying that insulting religion is a serious crime. However, in this case it's very difficult to believe that KK Mart intended to insult Islam. Looking at the circumstances, these five pairs of socks could potentially be supplied to any convenience store, not necessarily at KK Mart.

what Akmal's doing today were what Mahathir & Anwar did when they were on good terms - contesting with PAS to see who's more religious, by setting up JAKIM & islamic bank, islamizing government departments & education system etc. once society head towards conservatism, it's hard to U-Turn. so what we have today, Anwar's part to be blamed as well. if UMNO didn't compete with PAS but develop the north states just like how they developed KL & Selangor, this would've cut off PAS's conservative narrative when it was weak & force PAS to compete in terms of liberal & progressive stuffs. they won't even have the time nor need to brainwash people into having negative association with the word "liberal". even today's Arabians are more progressive by allowing their ladies to compete in beauty contests, while our people are contesting to be more Arab.
