@@Pinkyboo12 satire lol, I've played many a dart tournament in that place, local legend states that they actually had on the wall like a plaque some of the "plans" on back of bar napkins, I actually talked to an old classmate of L Ron's during one such tournament, said he was quite weird, was from there but no one really claimed him lol...last I knew it was called Wag's Tavern

I think he means that they eat the same things at a Christmas meal as Americans at thanksgiving? That’s the best I could come up with anyway lol

i think he just means like how important a holiday Thanksgiving is for the US is how Christmas is for the UK. like US has Christmas, too, but Thanksgiving is HUGE when you really think about it. but in the UK they even get extra days off for Christmas every year (at least 2) and they don't have a Thanksgiving equivalent either. so its like their Thanksgiving i think is what he meant.

@@caroloonfloon omg that’s unbelievable, I thought they give at least one day off in all the countries where Christmas is celebrated. My husband is from Egypt and they have a very small Christian minority but the whole country gets a day off for Christmas (it’s in January in that part of the world)
