Who's Playing Wii U Games Online in 2024?

As we are now in the final year of the online services for both Wii U & Nintendo 3DS, one has to wonder if Nintendo's decision to close down these services was done for a good reason. Today I will be answering that question by playing a bunch of Wii U games online to see if there is anybody still playing in 2024. From the most popular games such as Mario Kart 8, Splatoon, & even Smash Bros. All the way to the unknown games such as Wii Sports Club

Nintendo shouldn't have closed the servers, WiiU and 3DS are really active and these are Peer to peer servers so they are dirt cheap to pay for. Nintendo has no reason to close the servers. Why isn't there a class action lawsuit staubst them?

They just want people to pay for switch online. I don’t pay for it and now I’m gonna have to once Wii u and 3ds shut down :(. I prefer Mario kart 8 online on the Wii u than switch

They should shut the online off when the next new Nintendo console comes out or at least keep it running for the rest of 2024 why now in April makes no sense!🙆🤦

Hello friend, could you ask me a question? I bought a locked Wii U with 3 original games, if I do a factory reset will it brick it? And if I keep it connected to the internet and update the original games, can it brick too? Thanks!
