When I first played the game. I was thinking Seb, Sam, or even Alex(because of some of his heart events). I talked to Shane a lot because he was a jerk to me and I wanted to make him mad...then I got his first cutscene and decided okay, lets see where this man takes me. I am married to him in my first save now. He gives me over microwaved foods, fixes fences, "Waters" the garden, fills the cat's dish ect. Though his room leaves something to be desired lol. Edit: Pierre ignores his wife. She wants to spend time with him at events and he wants to make money. She 100% deserves better and his only "shining" moment is the post "Community center completion" scene. Like the game makes it seem like both Joja and Pierre are bad and you are choosing from the lesser of two evils, in that siding with Pierre keeps Joja from owning the town.

Both of them are wives,,, Women,,, Penny is so incredibly sweet, attentive, she does her best with the kids in the valley and wants them to have a bright future!! That is adorable and so compassionate!! Leah on the other hand, she's amongst the ones that actively have a social life. Like her and Elliot are THE MLM/WLW friendship and I love it.
