To me, not only does swindling not discriminate....but society thinks only certain types of women deserve sympathy when they're abused or swindled. A wrong against someone isn't 'less' wrong because you don't find the victim attractive.

The most baffling thing about this story is, Ressa never presented herself as a gold digger to this man. He really could have shown up as the forklift operator, new to the city, open to marriage and she would have been fine with him. Him paying the household bills just made it worse. What was his purpose of lying to her? He asked for and gained NOTHING by scheming her. WHAT WAS THE REASON???? The elaborate story with characters, etc was just so unnecessary, which proves he has to be mentally ill.

Maybe he used her to live out his fantasy of living like his brother through her🤷‍♀️ If he'd been more upfront they could've worked together to achieve most of the stuff he talked about. The FACT that the name #Legion refers to a MAN possessed with multiple DEMONS (Mark 5:6-13)! The SPIRITUAL significance, of that ALONE is HUGE on many levels! It’s a shame that having NORMAL aspirations as a Black Woman like (wanting marriage and children) whether or not (you have a proverbial #BigBack) is seen as “desperation”! WHEN it’s a base expectation for women of other races, IS the definition of: Gaslighting n’est pas?!? 🤔👀🤮🆘 Legion is an: Unhinged, Demon Possessed, Sociopathic, Habitual Liar and Textbook Narcissist! Just ANOTHER example of: WHY #ModernDating is a CESSPOOL of Radiated Excrement! THANK GOD for his powers of EXTRACTION and PROTECTION Ressa! 🙏🏽💜🙏🏽 Unfortunately, MANY Women have gone through similar traumas dealing with these #LastDays Minions! I know 🙋🏾‍♀️ I have! #ButGod

As a woman who is like most women as Reesa. We desire true love. While watching this again and listening to Reesa speaking, I cried because I, too, have been that woman who works hard, does everything the "correct" way with the hope that someday God will bless me with my king. I, too, have been led to believe that true love does exist and that they will do right and treat you right. Until you have been hurt by someone who truly did not care an ounce about you but wanted to use you, you can fully understand the peace that Reesa is now experiencing. I said all that to say this, I am finally in a place in my life where I can remain single and be totally fine with it because I now understand what it means to love the hell out of me 💕.

Excellent Points! For a man that fancies himself a “mental health advocate” he could’ve made this into a teachable moment-instead of being pejorative with the “big back” statement. You’re never gonna catch Charlemagne holding a Black man accountable or even want to address community issues on a nuanced level. Remember when Amara Lanegra was on TBC talking about her plight with colorism and he pretty much dismissed her attempts altogether?! I remember finding that very troubling.

I think it’s so heartbreaking that a person-a woman, at that-can pour her soul out, hoping that her story will reach just one person, and help them, or give them comfort to know they aren’t alone, at least, and there are people out there who will twist that vulnerability around to talk about looks. That’s true ugliness right there. I can’t even fathom the courage & bravery it took for Reesa to make those videos, knowing that the internet can be a real foul place sometimes. She deserves all the good things in the world and I hope she gets them 🫶🏼

She is a phenomenal storyteller, but I just want to offer up the perspective that storytelling does not directly correlate to solid advice. At the end it alarmed me to hear her say that the takeaway from the story is to do your research on people. To me that does not indicate a significant mindset shift. Taking accountability is difficult especially to the magnitude to where she has taken it.. but that isn’t where it ends. There is so much work to be done beyond acknowledgment. There are so many more takeaways from this story that rank higher in severity than to do your research. Research is common sense. It is clear from this story that people like legion who target people who lack standards and love for themselves, will take you as low as you’re willing to let them take you. She said multiple times throughout the story that she was scared to be alone that she didn’t want to be alone with herself. Please.. please love and care about yourself more, so that even if you do come across people with ill intent, that love for yourself will prevent you from willingly giving into delusion 😕. I want us to have peace. You will not find happiness in another person. Whoever is meant for you will only help amplify what is already there, not create it. Positive or negative. God bless

I think that some of the main takeaways are to love yourself first and foremost. Do not prioritize anyone over your sanity and emotional wellbeing. She realized he was lying about the house and decided to continue knowing he had the capacity to lie about something so serious. Care for yourself.. and not in the way that’s shown on social media.. but really truly care for yourself however that may look for you. That way when people come into your life, you won’t be so deprived of love and care that you subject yourself to any kind of treatment. Another one is that sometimes knowing more is not beneficial. There came to a point where she had enough information to leave.. but SHE wasn’t ready to leave. You can have all the information in front of you but if you choose not to really really believe it.. then you won’t leave until you are given no choice. Until your very survival is at stake. It made for a good story but finding out more and more only brought her more pain and mental instability. Love yourself enough to leave before you descend to that point Don’t allow anyone to isolate you and do not isolate yourself. Those who care about you have your best interests at heart. You have to be willing to hear what they have to say even if you don’t want to hear it. Bc sometimes when we fall in love we can’t think clearly and those around us help keep us grounded in reality Another takeaway is to lower your self and your standards for something that you know is not right for you.. will always be more painful than the being lonely. Each time you accept less you lower your self esteem subconsciously.. you are telling yourself that what you want doesn’t matter. Please do not let anyone make you feel like you don’t deserve to be loved and cared for.. and that includes yourself. Don’t be your own worst enemy It made me sad to hear her still talking about how dating sucks bc to me I felt as if even after all of that she didn’t understand that who she is at her core is enough. Dating is hard now but after all of that.. it shouldn’t be her priority in my opinion. Repairing her heart and her mind needs to be.. I can understand not wanting to trust again after an experience like that.. But that just indicated to me a lack of healing that still needs to be addressed. And sometimes when we are still in the midst of our traumas and pains.. our ability to fully reflect isn’t where it would be compared to making it out of the storm.. There are soo soo many more lessons from this story but those are the ones that I wish she had covered. Those are the ones that would’ve shown a significant mindset change.

This woman is a very articulate story-teller, beautiful, and looks like most women in the world. Not understanding the shallowness when it comes to her weight or even her naiveness because we all at some point have over-looked glaring red flags because we wanted to believe in love. Unfortunately too many ppl, especially women have been manipulated and swindled. I think it teaches us that the idea or concept of love, especially to ppl who haven't experienced authentic & genuine love can make u do crazy things and it's important to love yourself first and trust your third eye. I think this also reminds ppl of not only that Narcissistic Personality Disorder & Anti Social Personality Disorder in the DSM-5 context is real and scary, that there are some truly demonic evil forces out there and will show up in people like legion, a friend, and even a family member. So protect your energy at all costs. As always, love your videos ❤
