The number of injured Flyer players and the number that should have been on LTIR?? IF announcers had no idea as to the volume of injured Flyers, and were looking for GMs head for lack of effort, then I would say it would be a fair assumption in that the fans had no idea just how badly injured the team was without key components. What was Mr Tortorella's reaction to the number of injured Flyers??

Need to address PHX issue so the league aint operating teams. How bout the NHL go Green Bay Packers in 80's and have the potential Halifax franchise split some home games at a new Hartford Civic Center as the new New England Whalers and get to keep the HW logo!. Heck The NFL Patriots were set to play in Hartford but bad soil kept team in Foxboro.

See I kind of agree with u on that one. Or at least give it a go for a five or so years considering it was Melnyk's wish in his will for the girls (his granddaughters i believe?) to have the team. I think just purely out of respect for the dead the NHL and the girls should give it a try and if it doesn't work then sell the team. I know the NHL is a business so they'll never do that but still.

How its the poor that typically have the large families because they can get more money from the gov't that way (its massively more complicated than that but thats the jist) while rich people who arguably can afford to have big families typically only have one or two (the heir and the spare to use the old Royal line of thinking)

@@joshuarenaud9928 Yeah sorry thats what I meant. When I lived in Ottawa the big area news was that Ryan Reynolds with a team of investors was thinking about buying the Sens. Apparently he has family in Ottawa which is his connection despite being born in Vancouver.

the NHL has too many teams now, not enough talent to support more than 20-25 teams. Hamilton and Québec City deserve an NHL team before any more American cities!
