Love the Bears picks, but it doesn't change the fact that Matt Eberflus is the head coach. He has been in the NFL as a coach, coordinator and now head coach since 2009. In that time, the teams he has coached for have a combined record of 119-116. So, while the players they got look great on paper, not sure the staff can turn that paper into a jet plane and make them fly.

I worry about a player that cannot control his emotions in front of the cameras. Controlling your emotion effectively is a sign of discipline and poise. There's nothing wrong with a man, grown or not, crying in public. Caleb Williams has known that he was going to be drafted first. He's known that he was going to be drafted by Chicago, once it was known that the Bears qualified for the first pick.

As a long time Bears fan (since 1975)..... Kyle Brandt needs to calm down. Yes, the 2024 Bears Roster on paper looks impressive and much better BUT...... Chicago has to prove it on the field and in all 17 games this fall and winter. I am not convinced that Bears Rooke QB Caleb Williams is going to do well in his first season in the NFL. If the O-Line doesn't protect Williams and he continues to hold onto the ball more than 3 seconds, Williams' first year will be a disaster; I only see the Bears wining 4 or 5 games in 2024. Plus, Williams still hasn't hired an agent to represent him as a NFL QB. By Williams' third year of his rookie contract, he possibly could be traded away....just like former Bears ILB Roquan Smith, who now plays for the dreaded ravens.
