Painting the staircase white is totally impractical, imagine the ripping off of the paint with the passage of time, every time they'll have to repaint. The "before" staircase was classy! + there was nothing to renovate in this house except kitchen.

I personally feel like the house didn’t need a renovation. It looked decent before.

It was pretty outdated and needed to have some updating done, that's for sure. Now the house looks so much brighter and more open compared to how it was before. Sure I wouldn't say it was in terrible condition, but it looked to be about a decade or so old when it came to design. The dark cabinets in the kitchen, for instance, are no longer the trend and haven't been for a while now. Lighter is the way to go these days.

I'm not a fan of white walls everywhere. So sterile. I like colors, even pale colors, something that adds warmth and personality to the home. This looks like show home, no one lives there. Beautifully done, a nice designer, but not something I could ever live in.

Was perfect before. To much white. You ruined a house that was ok just like it was. It was warm, you made it cold and blunt.

The house seemed o.k before.There is too much white.The staircase also.What a waste!
