Creators like you with your selfless informational content don't know how helpful you can be. My girlfriend has struggled with very difficult symptoms from her autoimmune disease, and there are times when she can barely move her joints bc of the pain. I bring this up because I want to thank you and the rest of the crunchy bread baker community for helping her to have the know-how to routinely do such a physically easy but awesome thing like feeding her starter and baking treats for others- that she can dedicate herself to when her body forces her to stay inside. Thank you.

Leisa, thank you for explaining the difference in what soft white wheat and red wheat are used for. I hesitated in any purchase because I had no idea how to properly use it. Please continue to explain the proper wheat for the proper baked goods. I can't be the only person ignorant of it, having used flour off the store shelf all my life. Thank you Leisa and Palouse 😊

I am just learning about wheat. I love the Palouse brand, prompt delivery and clean. Your e planning is very helpful Leisa. Now, I have made bread from scratch for 50 years, no problems. The grains are different for me. Back to basics for the education is so needed.

Love it when my shipment arrives here in Michigan. I've had a couple UPS drivers ask me about the berries and why I order from "way out there". I told them quality, consistency and customer service. I know of five people that order now after giving them some to try. As a side note, I throw berries in the yard. Not only does it add to the beauty, but the chickens and wildlife love the wheat. Prayers for a prosperous year...

My brother bought wheat in 1998 and stored it in his well house where it stayed cool and dark. He never used it. His health went south and ended up selling his home I got the wheat as they were going to dump it! Horror of all horrors! That wheat has been the best ever! I’ve made some awesome things with it wish I had more of it! So yummy with over 25 year old wheat!

I love that this is a women ran business! I would love to start stocking up on wheat, as I bake almost all of our breads, muffins, etc. The price to buy those things FAR exceeds the cost of making them at home. With everything being so expensive, it definitely helps the food budget to do as much as we can from scratch, so having flour, or wheat to make flour, is definitely a must for our survival at this point.

Thank you for explaining the difference and uses for the wheat berries. I have been told for years I am wheat sensitive, but when I was in Europe I didn't have any symptoms and ate tons of wheat products. I am firmly convinced the problem is not mine but the store flour/products. Planning to add a mill and berries to my preps as soon as possible. Love Palouse's other products too!

Those muffins look fabulously delicious!!! I absolutely love Palouse Brand wheat berries!!! I didnt know it was an all fdmale business!!! That only makes me want to support their company even more!!! I love the excellent quality of their grains!!! Ive been baking with FMF (fresh milled flour) for quite some time now, and am alwaysooking for new yummy recipes to create!!! Ivte made so many different things with various wheat varieties, the only thinhg I havent done uer is to get a pasta extruder. We dont eat a lot of pasta, and I have quite a supply in my long teem storage, so not going that route anytime soon...that being said...I have made homemade noodles (sometimes called slippery dumplings in the south) and they are wonderful!!! I sufgest using soft white wheat for that. My preference for bread is hard white wheat with a small portion (about 100 grams) of Khorasan (also known as Kamut) into my bread dough, it makes a lovely dough to ne ised for rills, muffins, etc. Khorasan is a high protein, but not a really high gluten, grain so its bery versatile to work with!!! Thank you Leisa and Palouse brand for sharing the awesomeness of freshly milled flour from whole grains!!! Best of luck to everyone and happy baking!!! The health benefits aee superb!!! Brightest Blessings!!! 💜💜💜
