I recently moved out of the Midwest and whenever someone asks what I miss the most, I immediately say "the smallies."

IMO, this is the best time to fish Smallies. This video sure brings back some good memories. Walleye fishing in rivers at this time gets crazy good too.

I've watched so many of NDYakAngler's videos that I am starting to wonder how many times he's caught each of these fish before. Lol.

I think it is safe to say that we don’t watch to see you try a bunch of different lures and techniques. We watch because or the joy you bring to fishing, the relaxing way you talk about the trip to us…to me it is a reminder of why I need to fish more often and enjoy the adventure. Keep doing what you do, fishing how and what you want to fish, and we will keep joining you for the trip.

Every time I watch your channel I still cannot believe how big of small E’s you catch. And top water at that!! I am a western trout guy, but small mouth are my favorite fish. So hence this is one of my favorite channels. Good job! Really entertaining and super jealous

Smallies, northerns, and gold eyes have been caught on that exact lure last week. Using a yellow colored lure, but they were smashing that thing

Hey. I got out to mille lacs sat. Three hours of casting and caught one fish. But oh boy what a fish. 21 inch. Soo nice. When it hit I thought I snagged a rock until it ran.

Had a similar experience with the Plopper recently. Northern Ontario, Canada my brother-in-law and I were slamming 20-30 per day on the ploppers. The lure is just so good for bank casting like this.

Tried out the Plopper this summer and this is the first fishing season where ive actually had success with top water. The fall Northern have been crushing the top waters lately
