Hi Matt. I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for your videos. Last Spring, while stuck inside during quarantine, I stumbled onto your videos. Before then I'd only been bass fishing a handful of times. You really inspired me and so I bought a kayak and a bunch of gear and I've been on the water every chance I get ever since. Your videos are the only ones that capture what I love about kayak fishing: quiet, secluded waters, and catching some fish. And I've learned a ton just from watching you fish. In particular, the net handle under the knee trick is great for keeping treble hooks from getting tangled in the net. Thanks so much for taking the time to post these great vids. Yours is my favorite KZfaq channel, by far. If you ever find yourself in Maine I'd be happy to show you some local fishing spots.

Matt, thanks for assisting my wife on FB. She got me the Pelican Catch 120 for Christmas. Snowy and cold here in Michigan but it hasn’t stopped me from hitting the river and getting into kayak shape for spring. I had to break a little ice on my trip yesterday morning.

I am just SOOO jealous that you have all of these lakes and rivers you can access with a great variety and number of fish and NO PEOPLE, MACHINES, or NOISE! I'd be thrilled just to paddle around - the fishing is icing on the cake! Here in Ohio there just isn't the variety you have in MN and ND.

Love your videos and really love topwater fishing! My wife and I just bought a house on a three-acre peninsula on a private lake. Last weekend I caught about half a dozen 2-3 lb. largemouth just fishing the channel where our dock is located. Can't wait to get my Bona Fide 'yak out to fish for bigger bass and the large northerns that I'm told haunt the lake. Your videos keep me motivated to find the time to fish!

Man your videos are giving my a case of summer fishing withdrawal. I went out yesterday but quickly realized fishing in 25 degree weather on open choppy water was not near a fun as I envisioned it. Keep pumping out the videos, they are great.
