Rotated them 1/3 turn counterclockwise. What you identified as the 7mm was the 300. Next time, run a line down the sides of the plates, and you won't lose your orientation.

Nice to see a WHOTEEWHO classic with the new cartridges. Interesting result. Along with the deformation like you mentioned I’m guessing the smaller/skinnier area of the bullet from face-on gave the advantage to the smaller calibers.

What about putting the 6.8 Western in the comparison 🇦🇺👍
@chadperry40216 күн бұрын
Not a fair comparison as 6.8 is not loaded with an eldm. A cool test would be to load them all with an accubond long range. Nosler load data states the 300 prc can drive the 210 to 3100 fps. That’s a cannon.

I love this paper plate test buddy!!! One suggestion, I'm not try'n to tell ya what to do but maybe use a black marker and draw a line from the front to the back of the paper plates so ya don't lose the boolet alignment. Around 15:00 looks like you unintentionally rotated the plates throwing off the alignment. It's easy to do I've done the same thing before 😂 no worries tho, just gotta make another video🤣 Have a Blessed day brother 🙏. ~Jay~
@charlessmith42426 күн бұрын
* Next time draw a straight line with a marker along the top edge of the stack of plates going from the front to the back ( or back to front ). This will help keep your stacks in line and not inadvertently rotated.

You made a mistake, you turned and the one you put down was the 6.5 prc, the first bullet found is 6.5 prc, the second 7mm prc and the last 300 prc. review the video better next time or make a mark like a line with a sharpie on the column of plates so as not to make this perspective error. greetings

you should try hunting bullets, ELDX, Berger and Nosler.
@forrestebert52767 күн бұрын
Took my 6.5 PRC out today for some testing. So first I did a Factory loaded test with 127 Barnes LR , 140 Berger Hunting VLD & Berger 156 Elite Hunting VLD. Almost forgot the 143 Hornday ELDX The 140 was the smallest group followed by the 143 then the 127 & 156. Then I went on to some hand loads and again the 140 Berger shot better than the 127. I’m not happy with the Hornday brass pretty soft stuff and the Lapua was just fine. .5 groups pretty much the norm and I don’t think this rifle will do better?? So I’ll be using the 140 Berger for my Roosevelt Elk Hunt coming up in November.
@kylehurley59947 күн бұрын
Good luck on your elk hunt no matter which bullet you choose! Happy hunting
@forrestebert52767 күн бұрын
@@kylehurley5994 I actually wanted the 156 but there are no available ones to load just loaded ammo. I figure if the 270 can use 130-150 then the 6.5 with a140 should do the job if I do mine and shots are going to be in the 200-275 yard range so I’m good to go!
@lz35727 күн бұрын
