Then again what did Virgil Abloh do? Printed a logo on some flannels, copied a load of other designer’s work, Helvetica Nueve, a logo and a yellow belt. And he was one of the most revered designers.

@@xx-----------xx873 your missing the part where he had connections that made him able to do the things he did, though, there’s better examples that resonate with the point that it takes months even years for an exceptional brand to birth.

@@aliciaalicia2255 He took Ralph Lauren flannels, Champion shorts and printed Pyrex 23 on them (because he thought MJ and crack repesented Chicago lol) and sold it 10x the price. He got lucky at the right time, he previous creative director role did nothing to make him succeed.

2:30 yeah u right about that, heard that before. This one person said you first starting a brand ur not Gucci, or those well established brand. You can’t just put a logo on a tee and expect it to sell.

The logo can be one piece but you should do different things with it like if your logo is south west you should have pieces with s w, different writings n different parts of the pieces
