At least, I'm happy I have seen somebody who has the same mindset as mine. I thank God I rejected a fully paid PhD offer in USA to work in Africa. I don't regret at all. I shall get back to GH soon to implement my plans since I have lots of experience +knowledge. Kudos Sarpei! Let's do what our hearts desire and help our own people.

Kantanka, please start manufacturing tractors for farmers at lower cost than importing. Without tractors, farming can never take off in Africa, and the youth would never embrace it because of the hardship of manual labour.

Dentaa, seeing you interview those farm-hand girls in a Ghanaian language amazes me. It is such an intelligent thing to be able to do. It is a futuristic and awesome thing to see because right now, not many of us appreciate the necessity of it but I think we will more and more in the future.

Good for Africa, this is a staple in many countries in Africa. This product can also be exported across Africa to other African countries that don't necessarily use it as their staple. In Liberia this is also a stable food that farmers do invest in. Very good for this gentleman.

One of the things i regret about africa is that we don't value our cultures & languages. That's why we are not putting any effort to invent a writing system for our languges. We are contempt to speak & write european languages. I know some people would to blame it on european colonization of african people. But to me we don't have no will to change the statut quo. We are happy to be culturally dominated.

You have a point but that is not necessary now. When we become economically powerful, other aspects of our heritage can be reclaimed. We can't be talking about gaining cultural freedom and still dependent upon the ones we accuse. Let us gain our economic independence first. China is a glaring example.
