Gotta plant your prop and pivot on your transom when you’re stuck like you were in them logs. Just leave your prop down and pull back and fourth on your handle

Nice video, looking something to run a small 12-20 foot wide creek with some tight turns. are you able to make a 90degree turn with a mud motor? Also What size Jon boat you running. Thanks!

Thanks for the question Wesley. This was a 1648 War Eagle boat. A long tail is great, as you can tell in very skinny waters. Tight turns can be tricky however when you are in the woods, due to its length. When we were running ours, it was built on a swivel bracket that allowed us to swing it 360 degrees, but if you are making alot of tight turns in the woods, a SD may be more beneficial.
