If the root of many of Japan's problems is its blind adherence to Bushido, then the solution is for the country to embrace its Nindo culture and strike a balance between the two forces. To adapt and to endure in these changing times without losing sight of its heritage and traditions.

12:00 This is very interesting, because there is a old Latin say "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum" (If you want peace, prepare for war"). Gathering information and protecting the province is as important than engaging into war, assuming engaging into war is only when there is no place for peace anymore. Thank you Shogo-san and Ichikawa-san Sensei for these two parts of very informative and myth busting series about Ninjas in a whole and comprehensive manner.

I always love to look to the world stage when things get crazy in my home country; it keeps my perspective fresh and my views broad. While I’m troubled to hear of turbulence in Japan nowadays, I’m sure that they are well aware that, as people, they are not alone in their suffering during these trying times. We’ve all had the very limits of our societies tested, and we’re still not done putting them through the wringer, but by learning the lessons of the past, we face the future as wiser people. Thank you both for this wonderfully-informative 2-parter.

It is a bit controversial being a descendent of a navajo code talker but admirer the culture of the Japanese, our geat grand dads fought one another but that dont mean that u n i in this time of age cant get along. That shows us/everyone that we can move along for what ever reason or purpose. Ninjas being liked mostly by children is something that also happens to Brazilian folklore. There are some mythological creature that could be told in an interesting manner, but in many cases we are only exposed to them during our childhood. Of course the stories are then sanitised to be approppriate to children. Therefore many Brazilian adults see folklore as something childish.

There are certain parts of Bushido that are no longer practical in modern society. And Shinobi are glorified in anime and movies starting around 1960 but became very popular in the 80s . Some of the techniques attached to Shinobi and Ninja are practical if you are special forces or something of that nature but to the average civilian these are not practical either in modern society. Making poison assassination and engaging in many of the different ways of the Shinobi are illegal in most countries . But these different demonstrations on this channel are fun to watch but would I let my children watch or read the manuals about espionage assassination or making poisons no I would not .
