Looking at maps, it seems the wall itself would do its best to cross the river at the edge of preexisting bridges, but the waters of the Spree mainly belonged to the DDR, and there are many stories of children falling in the river, and drowning, since no one was allowed to go in and save them.

At first, the MAX maps kind of confused me, especially with how the lines kind of split downtown. I remember being confused when I learned how short the distance from Lloyd Center to NE 7th really was. Also, yeah, that was an old map, but all I really needed for that part was something that gives the general idea. But yeah, for those of you not from Portland, that map is severely outdated, and many of the "planned" lines are either cancelled, or complete.

Portland's MAX map is probably one of the best/worst "not geographically accurate" transit system maps out there, just because there are stops that are 400 feet apart (any pair of stops downtown, two blocks apart) and stops that are multiple miles apart (Oregon Zoo to Sunset Transit Center.) And yet, on the map, they are the same distance. Also, the light green "South Waterfront" streetcar appears to go almost as far South as the Orange line and the (in black) WES service, and as far south as the Green line. In reality, the Orange and Green lines go much further South, and the (in black) WES service goes *SIGNIFICANTLY* further South. (About twice the distance of the Orange and Green lines.) In real life, that "South Waterfront" loop's Southernmost point is about even with the WES line's *NORTHERNMOST* point. (It's actually slightly further North.)

Again, though, it's just for making sure people understand how the transit system works, and not for anything else.

Well, I mean, even the best data maps will still get outdated, or miss Greenland and Western Sahara.

True. Or Alaska. There are a disconcertingly high number of maps looking at "X in the United States" that don't include Alaska. Many'll still have Hawaii to add insult to injury.

KhAnubis I just tried to jokingly (but perhaps not very clearly) point out that, at least to the viewers, this collaboration seems to only involve briefly appearing once in the others video to promote themselves. I'm sure you might have collaborated more than that behind the scenes. And I don't actually mind, I'm fully aware that collabs are primarily a form of mutual promotion and it doesn't really matter to anyone how blatant it is, as long as it's mutually a genuine endorsement of some other channels the other like. Because then it's also a great way for the users to discover new channels, like how I now found yours. I found it sort of amusing how minimal the guest appearances were, that's all. (Sorry, today I'm apparently either posting short incomprehensible comments, or WAY too long, and detailed ones. )

Ah, I see. Yeah, the crossovers were a bit hard to work out, especially since there was a six-hour time difference between us. Perhaps you were thinking something more like the collab Jade did a couple months ago with Neuro Transmissions?
