i am not sure if it would be enough for a video but the way Philips (a company) basically build big parts of Eindhoven (a city in the Netherlands), created a big football/soccer club and how it made way for its technical university and the regions current industry like ASML. Is quite interesting in my (biased) opinion.

Like your channel hope you keep it up! Also, Turkey was my favorite country to visit. If you go back be sure to visit Cappadocia, Pamukkale and ancient Ephesus. (I’ve also been to Afghanistan, but would not recommend that country…)

Being on the spectrum, whether you'll like Japanese public transit is VERY dependent on whether the system makes natural sense to you (it's complex but very elegant, especially with a travel card like Suica or Pasmo, though they can be rgion-locked/limited), whether you enjoy learning and understanding its complexities (there's a reason some Japanese people [I suspect on the spectrum] become train-fanatics, and learn entire time tables and train systems), or whether you don't get it, or find it counter to how you think, in which case you'll hate it, and find it painfully difficult to use.😅 Personally, I LOVE it, though it took me some time to understand it properly. Once you learn how it works, it's honestly pretty easy. The hard part for most is learning it without having someone to teach you patiently.😅

Is it me, or does there seem to be a shortage of symbols, you know a symbol for each letter, for the Sumerian language. It looks like to me they got 10 letters in their alphabet. Maybe less. I'm only seeing 4 or 5 distinct seperate symbols. Sure they are arranged a bit differently. But only 4 or 5 symbols? Really all I see are big and little triangles or arrows mostly everywhere. That's just 2 symbols. It kinda looks like crazy stuff. How do we know they don't mean numbers? Without a Rosetta stone I don't know.

The difficulty with writing is: books and scrolls are very delicate materials using parchment to write on. And great care must be used to keep them from disrepair. Especially today with the "electronic" word and computers and hard drives. They too can be corrupted and reased. Which does happen intentionally at times usually after a people have been conquered.

On how you describe how you see yourself as bi-coastal btwn Oregon and DC in origins... You mention how you feel thats the sweet spot and a few yrs later and youd see it as diff; and i know exactly what ya mean as an Oregonian who had to move state to WA and then shortly after CA, right before i turned 11 And even back then I considered myself an Oregonian thru and thru, and i just wanted to return there (tho thats more cuz i hate Cali with a passion; and went thru hell whilst livin there) I did end up movin back to Oregon in the last couple yrs of high school, and then just stayed there most my adult life, and left for a yr and then returned there after a brief stint in WA that ended badly when a friend suddenly revealed a laundry list of issues theyd nvr mentioned before and kicked me out with under a weeks notice Howevs, now i no longer live in Oregon again, but this time bcuz i found an awesome life with an awesome polycule in the midwest; and they make me feel its worth not livin in the best state (i mean, we have sky whales; havent ya seen the tourism vids?) to be with them :3 But still, im not a Midwesterner nor will i become a Coloradoan when we can manage to move there; tho ill love CO a lot more than this particular hot wet state thats full of bigots galore Im an Oregonian thru and and thru, and thats been true since i was 10; its just the best state ive ever lived in and the PNW has just a nicer feel to it bcuz of all that unspoilt nature (thanks federal govt changin the rules and us just havin to accept it <.<) Theres not near enuf trees over here and theyre nowhere near tall enuf; and they dontve nearly enuf cherry blossoms... But tbf, i grew up in cherry city xD So uh, yeah, i expect the town to turn pink around this time of yr; esp downtown I actually ask my friends back in Oregon for pics of the cherry blossom trees when theyre bloomin bright pink, every yr; and ive got a ton of my own pink tree pics i took for memories before movin :3 Ive aphantasia so the visual memory is just not there without pictures to remember them; fb and google are like the only reason i can remember anythin visually of my past xD

Cool! Did you have a bar mitvaz, and do you speak Yiddish? If so did that help you learning German?
@KhAnubis5 күн бұрын
I didn't have a bar mitzvah (long story) and I never actually learned Yiddish since no one in my family really speaks it (aside from some of the swear swords). I've given it a try more recently and I will say, it's like my brain wants me to understand it, but it's just different enough from German that I don't quite understand it
@taka73693 күн бұрын
It might not help you a lot but I'm German and I understand very little Yiddish because of that; large parts seem to come from Hebrew and some from Russian and the German parts aren't that defining in my eyes. It's a beautiful and interesting language though and I enjoy hearing it.
@internetguru4737Күн бұрын
@@taka7369 Okey interesting, I thought it was similar than that to German. I’m swedish so I can understand a few words in Yiddish because of that, but it’s probably words that are the same in German anyways
