Cultural/religion shouldn't be determining factor as to who is or isn't asian. Christianity influenced EA and SEA, gunpowder from China (culture, firework) reshaped tge whole world, Europe had interactions with ancient China for more than 1000 years. What about the word "american"? It's only refering to US citizens, should canadians, mexicans and other countries in both North and South America being refered as american?
