For starters, how about a law stating that pharmaceutical companies have to give the same price to small pharmacies that they give to the largest pharmacy? Currently, they're overcharging all of the smaller pharmacies to help subsidize the price they give Walmart. Seems like an anti-competitive business practice to me. Pretty much every company that has products in Walmart does the same but people's health is far more important than a beach chair or a lawnmower. There should also be a cap on annual profits for Big Pharma, to combat the act of profiteering off of sick and dying people. I'm all for corporations making money. However, when your business model is "make us rich or suffer an agonizing death," we've moved _way_ outside the realm of Capitalism and into the realm of mafioso "protection" schemes.

the Chane drug stores have since the 1960s and 70s i serviced photos first heavy drug stores and camera stores then supermarkets . but drug and health and beauty stores have always hares a new one they open store after store then sell to bigger one then that one got bought out or went bankrupt. imo seeing the business over 40 yrs the building stores withing eyesight of another and way too many of the big standalone stores didn't make sense to me very high real-estate costs higher personal needed and why carry food when there on the property adjacent to supermarket . the mail pharmacies also take large part of rx sales today and yes middle man can cause disruption
