This was the first time, in a long time, that I bought a stock before earnings. I believed all these talking heads on you tube who expected a blow out quarter, what a mistake, now I remember why I never used to buy a stock before their earnings announcement, only positive is, PATH is a very small position, in my portfolio.

Two things beyond the obvious in particular that make me skeptical: 1. This comment that "Reconciliation of non-GAAP operating income guidance...is not available without unreasonable efforts" tells me they either the expected GAAP financials look pretty bad, or they don't know their own finances. 2. Why would they buy back shares in Q1? Did they just figure out that their outlook was going to be bad? Were they pumping the stock to meet some stock-based compensation last quarter? Can they not do basic math and realize that buying shares at a discount later is better? None of these are good signals.

The gap between Non GAAP and GAAP is an orange flag. The buyback is to reducde dilution (since they're FCF positive)

Ouch 30% drawdown. They reduced their full year guidance by a big margin. For me, it's a big red flag when management can't forecast. It's a sign of headwinds to their growth.

I just read that CEO stepped down. He probably got voted out by the board and forced to resign. He only lasted 2 years at the company and 4 months as CEO

High evaluations on high-growth companies means any small change in guidance is a massive hit on the forecasted numbers.

looks like snowflake 2.0. might take a long time to recover and with the bonds yields going up the stocks could be retreating down even further than today. i might buy it but still not convinced , At 10 or 11 it might be a good value to add

I got out of this a year ago. This type of stock is going to be badly disrupted by new AI, it will be possible to make custom solutions for automation quite easily in the coming years without uipath or any expensive tools.

Yeah, this is silly. A, the stock wasn't cheap by most evaluations. B, they should have expected the price to tank after guidance and ceo news. With no other evidence at all, I suspect they were pumping the stock for their own stock-based compensation metrics.

I'm not the expert on this kinds of junks but just keep in mind the market is usually full of these small ideas but only 4% of stocks go up on the long term. The sooner u get it that the faster you make money

I'm going to keep buying. Flip to profitability coming in 2025. $2b in cash no debt and now a $6.8b stock. Free cashflow has already been positive... hopefully they can beat on their guide and we finally see some upside in 2025.

I don't own UiPath and PayPal is still extremely undervalued. Keep hating, let's talk in a few years when theses play out. Oh and FYI that portfolio didn't start in January
