Wow! This is exciting EV news! This is surprising news to me from the VW side. Basically, an admission that whatever entire divisions of VW teams have been working on is going to be scrapped, I think. This does not solve problem #2 though, profitability. Hopefully EV demand picks up and this gives them a bridge to it.

I’m so pleased at the news. I’ve been a fan of the company since before its IPO. I mistakenly bought way too much Rivian stock (dollar cost averaging) in the early days, so I seeing huge losses on paper. Fingers crossed this will be the catalyst and turning point of a fantastic Ev startup.

More so than other stocks, like TSLA, I'm not afraid of missing out by waiting. So much negative sentiment will cause investors to ignore positive momentum for a while. I've got a small position and will monitor closely their comments and earnings.

Micron guided 17cents EPS for this quarter, but the analysts have gone to 50 cents. I hope Micron can deliver. If not, I will buy the dip as I think it will keep on growing the coming quarters or even years.

Hi Mr couch man....Have you any thoughts on illumina? Shares currently sit at $110 but was as high as $520 at the peak in August 2021. The stock has suffered badly because of the acquisition of Grail which was a drag on returns due to legal challenges etc. i am under the impression they have split from grail which could lead to an upturn in the stocks price performance however i am not able to read balance sheets etc... Could possibly be a very good opportunity here and maybe something to make a video off if you find any upside you could share with us 🙂

Weakening could just be seasonal, semis tend to have a cool off period in the summer. Nothing changes, the best semis will continue to dominate for the next couple of years.

Tesla stock is down 50% due to Musk's actions. Guess he didn't like the investors who fund his company when he dumped stock onto the market without filing proper paperwork and easing the action. Stock dropped 75% cuz rules are inconvenient for the genius boy. Now stock is so much confetti as he works to grab back his twitter debacle losses, and hand them out to executives like party favors. No small car on the horizon despite Reuter's fake news - and prosaic as it must seem to geniuses, the stock will rise and fall on car sales. Now it's talkee talkee time cuz that's easier and more ego inflating than the actual business of running a publicly traded company and producing product.

After doing quite a bit of research into this company over the past couple weeks I have decided to purchase a fairly large chuck of stock from Rocket Lab. It seems pretty evident they are on the right path to becoming a major player in the space industry without much competition other than SpaceX.

Robotaxi: The global taxi sales market is about ⅛ of car sales markets. There's no money in it. At least in Tesla's market cap levels of money. In May Tesla sales in Europe sank 34% when EV sales shrank 12%.

I'm certain $NVDA is a no-brainer for the next few quarters, but $TSM is a better option too, as is $PLTR, with $AMD also performing well. I keep increasing my shares manageably, l'd add more into giant tech players who are solid in their own hardwares like $META and $GOOG

This is the mistake most of us do thinking we can buy beat down stocks that will explode. Most of these won’t. Winners keep winning, losers keep losing…that’s the case usually

The worst thing I ever did was sell to soon. I was in heavy on AMD at $10, got tired of waiting for years on “dead money” and sold a month before it shot up to the $18-31 range. I said I would wait for it to come back to me and it never did. It was the most hurtful investing experience of my life. Worst than losing %89 of a position on %15 of my portfolio (which I still hold as a reminder of what not to do, it was BHG). Losing money sucks but its part of the game. Identifying the stock and selling it before the thesis plays out is by far the worst thing Ive had happen to me.
