Great video content. Ramona is so cute in her outfit. Love the socks. (LOL - "Puppy eyes activated" - they do have a way of melting our hearts with their eyes). Hannah's story is so sad. Thank goodness you rescued her and are so understanding. This is a great place to be to share our love for our dolls.

Awwww What a Sweetie Pie! Ramona is So so cute! Oh goodnesses, I swear there's a special place in hell for people who abuse animals and children! So glad Hanna is in your care now. I have a cat who was abused, kicked, neglected and apparently hit by a car at one point, all before he was 1 yrs old! He was skin in bones and Super Scared of any males. (I'm trans male and my husband is cis male). He bonded with me rather quickly, it took my husband almost 2 yrs before he would cuddle with him. Any case, much like your Hana, Milo is in a loving home now and living his best life! Yesss! Playing with these dolls takes me back to my childhood, it's more like reminiscing my childhood while I interact with them now. I definitely don't play with my dolls now like I did back then, but it takes me headspace back and I can enter into a liberating headspace. Liberated from adulting, from stress, from chores, from all the things and I Love going into that headspace of being in the moment with my dolls. To a large degree, they also bring back a lot of memories of my real children when they were babies. Sometimes a memory will just pop up that I had forgotten. I started collecting (for so many reasons) and this is already a mini book. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Thank you Daxx! I think so too. There is a story in native indian culture saying when people pass away they must first cross a bridge guarded by all the animals you have come across in your life and they get to decide if you pass through or not. And I really love the thought of that! My Hanna is still afraid of females and males except myself and my children. She does not like any kids at all they scare her. Even my granddaughter there for awhile I thought I was going to have to find her a new home because she was aggressive towards her. Building trust with her takes a lot of time. She actually is a big sweety and loves to give kisses and groom you to death lol. I am happy you and Milo found each other. I got Hanna after my brother passed from cancer to like keep me from totally going hermit. We rescued each other and continue to do so. I love how you put the childhood feelings you get. I spent hours and hours in my room as a child playing pretend with dolls to escape my reality. Somewhere I lost that as a coping strategy as I got older and forgot how awesome it is to just let go and immerse yourself into it. I also have memories come back to me from my own kids most are good but sometimes I realize that back then especially when I was 19 and 20is I was so mentally ill and stressed from trying to parent alone that I didn't really get to enjoy those moments and take them in. I was surviving. When I interact with my dolls I get to go back and pretend none of that happened. Pretend to be just in that moment with them. Not my kids but just the dolls I have and the personalities they have. I had not touched a doll in years until January this year. So this is like so new and fun. And has become a therapy I never expected. This is my mini book! It's called "Daxx we have some things in common" 🤗😛. Thank your for sharing you feelings and your experience. I have been catching up on yours too! I agree about energy you must be careful when you are super sensitive to mind your energy nurturing. I didn't take care of mine for a long time and spent more time trying to force myself to not be that way. We all know that doesn't work! It is lovely have our babies and dolly family to come home to! Thank you for being here, we not only appreciate you but we are so happy you are here! 🥰😘❤💜🖤
