I feel this title more than you know. Every Thursday it's a hackfest of uncoordinated and terrible players. I use it for exercise and I'll just stick to the competitive Sunday league play

I have played with Nigerian, Asian, Mexican, and Jamaican. Jamaican play hard fouls all day long. That’s how their game. Lol

It’s a tactic. Yellows are for deliberately uncontrolled fouls that are personal lol or just ridiculously dangerous in general but not killer like red. As for the tactic… Some teams do better when they, “play for set pieces.” If you are better defending against set pieces then yes, you foul to stop goals.

Playing for set pieces: Interrupts play and stops the other teams flow -it doesn’t allow them to reach their fluidity in terms of attacks. Fluid counter-attacks are dangerous. It gives you a chance to reset -if someone is way up the field and out of position, you can foul so that you get your other defenders back with you before ball is back in play It allows for tactical changes -the coach to change who is where, what they play There are a lot of benefits to set pieces whether it’s getting to reset, like fouling the striker before he can pass to his wide open teammate (your guy lost his man mark), or you need to stop the counter. If you know certain players on the other team play well together (scouts report that information to the team before the match), then you may want to stop play each time before the guy can get it to his tandem partner. Some teams are deliberately dirty with this though. They will foul the other team’s best player soon as he touches the ball just to stop him from going anywhere/taking a fairly earned shot. It’s definitely a tactic that teeters on the line of propriety and sportsmanship.

That was a harsh trip. It’s one thing to hook the inside of a guy’s leg and another to kick the back of his ankle so hard you take his foot from under him.

Island boys definitely faster and better players, but real bad at being losers. No composure when behind. Thinness comes out. Lack of discipline and mental toughness. Sad.

Ask for another player to get a yellow card in Sunday League Football in England and watch that player get snapped next time he gets the ball. Its frowned upon here to ask for cards.
