We (Feyenoord supporters) did not wanted him to go! But we knew quite quickly that our new coach would not stay forever, as he is so good, that soon enough a team will just buy him away. That is the fate of players and coaches in the Netherlands. When you are good, you are easily sold as we are like a cheap market. If you look good you can buy great things at bargain prices. We never can compete with the big leagues, with their big money. Bye Arne, we loved you, we will miss you and show those poms that they have hit a jackpot without knowing. Good luck Arne, show them!

Arne was able to play very dominant football with Feyenoord and getting the better of Ajax and PSV(last season) having a limited selection of players and player budget. Ajax coming of some impressive champions league seasons had so much more money to spend then Feyenoord and still he managed to beat them over and over. He is a great tactician and sees everything on the pitch and makes the right decisions to try and topple the game in his favor. Also he is a great player manager with multiple examples of making his players way and way better than they have ever been. Players like Wiefer, Kokco, Geertruida, Timber, Hartman, Malacia looked like different players after some time under Slot. I genuinely don't know how he will do with a team full of superstars, but I do know he has everything it takes to be one of the best coaches out there.

On paper, any manager and any style can look good. But for it to work in real, players need to give their lives on the pitch for their manager and the jersey. That was Klopp’s biggest tactic. Hope Arne can do the same.

When Slot came to Feyenoord they weren't playing very well. They almost were kicked out the conference league qualifiers but after a while it wnet much and much better and at the end they played the conference league final. So Liverpool supporters your players will have to adjust and work damned hard. Hopefully they will do well.

@@nkohu Let's wait and see with that. Feyenoord had its injuries as well but not that many. it's the way Klopp has let them play that has caused more injuries I think. Slot is playing more compact so they have to run less. The energy Feyenoord has used was more to defend with every player including the forward players. I think that's why Slot had fewer injuries..

@@nkohuKlopp's "gegen pressing" had been an injury prone to players since his Dortmund days and now at Liverpool!!!! On the other hand, Slot is not a gegen press manager, he's more based on possession attacking football with less pressing to the ball!!!! I hope we'll have less injury players next season

U are right! Klopp is one of the most charismatic managers I know. So is Slot. A bit different though, I don't know if it's charisma with Slot but he is so extremely well spoken and clear in his communication. He always manages to find the best words and most efficient way of getting his point across. That's when talking to media, but I can imagine this also works in his communication with his squad.
