I have carpal tunnel so if I use my phone for more then like 30m a day my hands go super fizzy which is a good sign to stop and because of that I now only using my phone to contact people and keep a to-do list.

If it means anything, I actually listen to what's being said. I need to be actively doing something else so I am playing a game while I listen to videos in the background. But that's why I prefer the long form content. I think these videos are great.

Well I'm different: i was rarely getting any electronics when I was a kid. And didn't get my own electronics until I was 17 and even then I couldn't bring it to school or outside the house.

Bro I cannot use Shorts unless I just have been staring at my wall and need to activate my brain- My attention span can be ASS but KZfaq Shorts just overstimulates me sometimes. It’s usually when YouYube pushes new content that ends up being brainrot to me that I can’t do it and just watch a video essay or play video games.

Personally I think it’s parenting that’s causing this problem because parents now just throw an iPad in the face of a kid and never interacts.
