You must have missed the part about every one of them are 3D printed. Meaning they are available with a few mouse clicks. No tooling changes and no bulk to remove. Many engineers today are masters of the copy and paste masters variety.

Man, B&T could kill it in the suppressor game if there was more distribution in the US. Who wouldn't buy a 3D printed 718 inconel, "flow through", hub compatible can that's under $800? The feature set at the price point is awesome!

I actually love this because I live in a state where we can't own NFA items, but I plan on moving at some point and it's nice to know down the line that I can still get a suppressor for whatever B&T firearms I may have. Also cool for people that get into firearms later and look back and see something that they want that may be out of production. Always a shitty feeling finding out about something after it's out of production and unavailable, so it's really cool to see them doing this.

Them offering attachment to surefire muzzle devices was HUGE. Whether it's for looks or effectiveness, I love the Surefire muzzle devices on my rifles. My sub guns are all tri lug. This makes B&T the perfect balance of quality and cost for everything I own. Wait times are supposedly down lately, so I'm going to start shopping around for something to put on my SCAR16.

B&T already dominates suppressors, they are the largest suppressor manufacture in the world, they are the OEM marker of other brands such as H&K, and they hold patients on alot of suppressor technology that other suppressor manufactures use.

Exactly. I'm seeing the older A2 Rotex X for 625 online and there is even one in a local gun shop near me. I haven't bought it because I don't know how it performs. Literally know nothing on it.

I don't know James that PTR suppressor for .223/5.56 is a true breakthrough for those rounds. Haven't heard them in real life but I've never heard something that takes the boom out of these rounds like this suppressor seems to over the speakers of my phone.

That's just the unfortunate nature of the Browning action. An ideal suppressor host would be some sort of fixed barrel pistol that you could stick a tri lug mount on and run it like you would an MP5. Such a product doesn't really exist since SilencerCo decided to nix the non NFA version of the Maxim 9.

No one is buying 3 versions of the same suppressor because of onerous NFA laws. However, the modularity may pull sales from other suppressor companies.

The APC and SPC lines are readily available. Most everything else from B&T is like you said, limited runs... but thats by design.

No they're heavy, very difficult to clean. Unless you run a heavy profiled barrel dont run BT. Also other companies came up with far better modular suppressors in Switzerland, and BTs attitude to them was quite poor, they really hate competition. Do not buy into this Swiss quality bullshit, its just sales speak to get you to part with your dollars. 😂😂

I’m not new to firearms but I am relatively new to owning a suppressor (I have one 9mm can). I enjoy your reviews James but this guy just lost me with too many three-letter acronyms. I’d rather heard more information about fewer cans/styles/attachment types. Sorry, but this one isn’t for me.

I'm sure if you were at the booth, he would clarify anything, but if you're shopping for a high end suppressor, you should probably have already done your research on what all the acronyms are. ignoring the ATF stuff - until companies start taking suppressor pricing seriously, I'm going to assume they don't take themselves or their customers seriously also. Functional suppressors have been a thing for over a century and their basic design has not really changed. With competition and innovation being the boomer and Right Lite battle cries for capitalism, I think its pretty safe to say suppressor guys just want to roll around in the money pit for the time being

The process of making them especially out of materials like titanium and inconel is expensive plus the tooling r&d and everything else. It costs thousands of dollars just to do some treatment for inconel. If all you want is cheap you can also find that too so it's not like everything costs thousands. Some of them can be found for

@@LaughingMan44 full auto rated means more than just “full auto.” It means it can take a more enhanced firing schedule, which can mean more than 1 round in a second. Our suppressors in the US are built like tanks to last *decades,* the ones in Europe last for a trip to the range and maybe some. Not even a fair comparison.

What is it with whole supressor this and suppressor that routine? The proper, non-woke name of these items is silencer. Just go check Maxim's patents for them, both the one for guns and the motorcycle ones. If the word silencer triggers some people, why are you wasting the opportunity by glossing it over for them? If they are to be triggered, then let them be triggered. It's fun.

It's primarily pedantry at this point like people who argue clip vs mag when in reality it doesn't matter for the vast majority of people and you know what people mean. Suppressor is less misleading if you want to get down to it since it does suppress sound but doesn't eliminate it which is the connotation silencer brings along for people.

Judging by your comment, I see you have very little, to no, command of it. Words exist because they have a definition distinct to a function it describes. When words are removed or definitions are intermingled, then confusion sets in. On top of all that, who in their right mind would choose to use a longer word in place of the proper word? From my perspective, that would be a person that has diminished critical thinking skills.

Maybe you should consider using critical thinking skills and realize those words describe the mindset and behavioral reactions of brainwashed, federally educated young people who have been told they are so brilliant, they simply do not have to read words that hurt their feelings. They definitely could not learn anything from some mean old man that negates what their single mothers' told them. You and the rest of the myrmidons here would goose-step behind Stalin, as long as he didn't say ouchie words to your snowflake ears.
