What are your hopes for Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger?

The way I see it, BoonBoomger is basically Go-Onger 2.0: -vehicle motif, -three Rangers at the start, with two more joining the team later on, -wacky tone, -the villains are some kind of robotic empire.

I love Mirror... I mean Mira because she literally said what most of us said when we see boonboomger costume, "a tire man"

i genuinely love when sentai introduces the themes and the main idea of a show when on its first episode. Taking the wheel is such an incredible concept that applies to literally everyone and to make the show revolve it is so so good

The first episode's vibe somehow manages to feel like donbrothers: extremely chaotic and very funny. I like it.

"Boonboomger" for me is what "Don Brothers" would have been if they were a normal Sentai, So I really dig it 😂, also it was surprisingly interesting that "Taiya Hando aka Boon Red" is a serious Red Ranger, cause I expected him to be more like a happy go lucky guy...

6:09 Bun Bun is gaining popularity thanks to his cuteness,goofiness,badass and of course because of his nickname and his character I hope Bun Bun get his own merch soon *like pins,badges,keychains,action figures and even plush dolls (he already has a suit in his colour pallete,with a cute music note to represent Rica Matsumoto and her singing)*

The Villians gives me major Team Rocket Vibes. Whuih makes sense with how Boondorio is voiced by the woman who played Satoshi/Ash in the Japanese version of the Pokemon anime.

I love the gag with the old lady and the auit and mecha action sequences. I love the creativity in the mecha fight of using the screwdriver instead of just punching and slashing

What I love about him just stopping to look both ways is that, it’s naturally goofy and so funny and makes sense like “hey I need to make sure that I won’t step on anyone by accident.”

I think the best part of the first episode is Pink sounding like she's cracking up at how silly the wedding cake joke was. EDIT: Also, your comment about the villains following the traffic laws applies to the mecha fight. If you pay attention the enemy waits patiently while Boonderio waits for the traffic light to change. EDIT: Im not sure if Pink finds all of this normal but more that it seems fun and cool. EDIT: I love the morphers since they are a Boukenger throwback too. :D

As a person who had low expectations as i loved king ohger's vibe and thought that a silly sentai wouldn't fit in like right after king ohger? ... But Boonboomger did not disappoint!! I loved it! Totally one of the best first episode for a silly sentai! Since joe was shown... I feel like he is gonna be my fav (a clumsy officer) and Bun orange already knows abt taiya so ig they will be "rivals"? Well some mysteries will be there haha.. Well in short Boonboomger was Awesomeee!✨️ (also people should rate it after atleast watching the ep - and not just becuz of the helmets 💀)

What I think about Boonboomger: - the goofiness is carranger; - their names are based on parts of a car; - the generals are giving Team Rocket; - the hyperspace racetrack is so Nascar and I like it; - Boondorio Boonderas -> nice pun; - Boonboom in Japan is like Vroomvroom for us

It’s funny they just put sticker on the mecha like mr.belt from drive. The mecha voice actress is exactly like ash from Pokémon and Arthur from fiveman. She didn’t try to change her voice for this one to differentiate. It’s like Ryan Reynolds and Chris Pratt using their own real voice in all of their animation movies.

Did you see the cameraman's reflection in Boonboom Red's tire helmet after he transformed?

One aspect I hope they highlight is Boonboom as a character. Sapient mecha has been a reoccurrence in Sentai for sometime and I have always enjoyed it. It’s nice having an episode appreciating such a staple of sentai and I hope that continues.

Just finished Kingohger and watched the first episode of this and WOW, I am vibing with this SO HARD! I LOVE the goofy tone, the music, the fact it doesn't take place mostly in Mandalorian style digital sets, and that Boonboon and equipment are voiced by the Japanese voice of Satoshi/Ash from Pokemon.

This episode was a decent start to the season not much to say on Blue as of now but I like red he doesn't seem like the over the top reds we've had in the past but still has a sense of enjoyment about things, pink on the other hand I get the feeling she will get on my nerves but I'm hoping I'm wrong as I'm very intrigued on how she ended up in the arranged marriage situation.

After 3 straight years of reinventing the wheel it just feels right to me that they're going back to basics

This premire was a lot of fun. It is absolutely insane, and I love it. Also, while I loved the suits before, I really enjoy them after seeing them in motion. It makes them feel like they are race car suits because you can tell they are thicker and made of different material from the norm. Also, the amount of detail when it came to the mech coming together. The cars having to drive through the trailer to transform into the arms, how they attach with actual backing up sounds, and just the way the mech looks was amazing.

So far this season gives me both Fiveman and Go-Onger vibes. Considering those are some of my favorite Sentai series, I am fully onboard with BoonBoomgers!

Despite the fun tone and back to basics feel of Boonboomger, it would be nice that somewhere along the future, it would take a more serious and high stakes feel. Taiya also reminds me of a more calm Captain Marvelous, which is always a plus if Gokaiger is involved.

I love how the changer/gear is voiced by boonboon like kingohger making the narrator a character it takes an aspect of super sentai and even Kamen rider where the voice for the gear is usually only thought about if it’s a good voice or not but with boonboomger it gives the gear more charm like boonboom made everything himself and was very enthusiastic when doing so

Honestly I didn’t finish KingOhger and watched this as soon as I could and I think I really liked the first episode! Whats new to me is I’ve never had a new seasons first episode make me wanna watch it multiple times. Definitely gonna watch it again today!

honestly going into this season i wasnt super sold on the designs of either the rangers or the mecha, but after i saw episode 1 i am very much looking forward to this season

BoomBoom’s voice actor is also Japanese voice actor for Ash, so that’s fun.

The levels of oyaji gyagu/dajare in just the first episode was incredible. To snip something from a certain tokufan forum by a poster going by the moniker "Connie Edogawa". "to start with, we have the obvious ones of the rangers' names: Red = Taiya Hando (Tire and Handle, which they seem to be using to mean steering wheel) Blue = Ishiro Meita (Meita's a pun on Meter, and, according to another source I've seen, "the Ishi/射士 in his given name means "marksman". Additionally it can be alternatively read as shashi, a pun based on the Japanese pronunciation of "chassis"" hence Red's nickname for him of Shashiro) Pink = Mira Shifuto (Mirror and Shift) and then stuff with the villains we have: Decotorade (pun on Decotora, the term for flashy trucks covered in decals/decorations (Kamen Rider Driver had a shift car styled after one)) Itaasha (pun on the normal name Natasha by way of Itasha/"pain car", cars covered in anime decals, as seen in Akibaranger, which itself is apparently a pun in Japan making fun of the homophone Itasha for "Ita"lian cars, by swapping in the kanji for pain instead) Yaiyai Yalcar (pun on "Yaru ka?"/"You wanna fight?" but also a reference to Pui Pui Molcar, which is the cutest show and y'all should check it out if you haven't already) the group name for these three is apparently officially "The Raiding Squad Sanseaters", a pun on both "san-seater"/"3 seater" and "sanshita"/"underling" because they're not the head honchos of their villain group, they're just one mini squad, team rocket style. Gyahsoline (Gyah is a scream. it's gasoline powered by screams) the MotW, Kurumajyu, is obviously a pun on Kuruma both in that overall name and in their individual names, "(insert object used to make them) Grumer", but also the kanji means "Bitter/Suffering Demon-Beast", and I love puns in that style where it's still a functional word outside of the obvious joke. and there's way more, already here and still to come, clearly."

Honestly I’m all in for this season, the music is so good!!!! Can’t wait to see what else is in store

I LOVE the humour honestly!

I loved Mira, or pink because she was just so excited to join and was having so much fun and I instantly clicked with her character. That's a first for me because normally in sentai I don't really clink with pinks, and if I do its never right away. Having the pink be so fun and kinda relatable was so enjoyable.

This episode was a good start to the season. I love how they're doing things with Taiya already being established as Red and Mira being the audience surrogate like how Haruka was one back in Donbros in the beginning. The one thing I'm not sure about is Bakuage being translated as "Cranked up" Personally I think "Revved up" would've sounded better but that's just me

this is the kind of sentai i love. silly, goofy, with a nice balance of seriousness. it reminds me alot of kyoryuger. i also love how its perfectly paced. its not too fast or too slow. i look forward to seeing how the rest of the season plays out!

I liked all parts of the episode, but the suits aren't interesting, in my opinion, but I really like the characters, especially Boon Pink her hyper energy reminds me of a few hyper characters.

when i heard about it first i just kinda afraid that this series will be too much joking and goofy. but when i watch the first episode, ngl it's still goofy but it's in good portion, so it's not annoying just fun as hell, mira as outer member and then got recruited just has some good portion for the joke, no over screaming, no over jump, and no over action (like that girl on KR saber). the mecha combination and fight also good and cool in it's own way. gonna love this series

Already first episode just give me Retro Comedy Tokusatsu show. But they end with they cut the giant monster like a cake just give me "Love After World Domination" moment... let hope there no red fall in love with villain kind of story....

After seeing the first episode of this season, I gotta say, this was exactly it. Even though it’s a 1 female team, after Zenkaiger and Donbrothers, I really liked how it’s portrayed as fun and comical especially this season’s pink, aka Shifuto Mira. This is SO MUCH BETTER THAN KINGOHGER. I’m so glad that I didn’t wasted my time watching that show after the Bugnarok arc. Hopefully by the end of the season will exceed the toy sales than its predecessor! It’s already SO GOOD OMG

Did Rica Voice a previous sentai role before the entire arsenal of this season?

Boonboomger Robo is actually Ash Ketchum and the Boonboomgers are his Pokemons turned into humans with tires attached on to their brains.

I am kind of getting Go-Onger and Carranger vibes. This feels more like a parody of Sentai like the latter was.

The only thing that let me down (just a tad) was the wedding dress monster, because I thought they could have done more crazy stuff with him...like forcing people to wear wedding gowns and walk to the wedding march, etc..more pushing his theme (like might have happened in Zenkaiser)

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Episode 1 was awesome the modern version of Carranger and Go-Onger is super duper awesome. The Morph Sequence is back and super awesome, and Roll Call is finally back was awesome. Overall It's a super super awesome episode next week Coming to Super Sentai Series Logo during Opening, More Roll Call, and Ending Dance.

I don’t understand why people keep bringing up Pokémon in reference to the person who voiced the main character of that show? I’ve never seen Pokémon. I have no plans to see the series. And, Gotchard is making me absolutely not want to.
