They literally had to get loans from Bayern. So now, as a smart club would do, they are learning their lesson and lining their coffers so that it doesn't happen again. Unfortunately some clubs don't have sugar daddies and Sheiks and have to create their own income. The only thing I can criticize them for is that they didn't buy defenders sooner and only young attacking talents. Would have made them more competitive over the last 10 years. But they seemed to have learned that lesson as well because they're bringing in Sule and Shlotterbeck which is miles better than what they currently have in that shambles of a defense.
