Hisoka died on purpose. He misjudged the fight based on misinformation from chrono and took a gamble rather then die due to explosion and damage he allowed himself to suffocate. Either from the bodies, smoke or self asphyxiation allowing for cpr in which case his bungee gum could restart his heart. There are examples of people being brought back after lack of oxygen to the brain up to hours after death.

Why should hisoka not be able to use Zetsu? His limbs are conjured gum that exists in reality, unlike transmutation of his aura. Also hisoka has 80 percent efficiency in conjuration. He can perfectly use zetsu. And he doesn’t even need to use zetsu. He can simply use IN.

I'm pretty sure that Angel's breath is useable outside of GREED island after all that was the whole reason why that rich guy hired so many people to go into the game in the first place and Gon used took 3 different cards out with him all of which were still useable.

Bungee Gum is the Nen he always lets people focus on, while Texture Surprise is his true trump card. I say it's a property of his postmortem enhanced Texture Surprise that can mask the Nen flowing beneath it. If I had to bet, all of his general Nen abilities are no stronger than they were before, and it's only his signature techniques that have become more refined. He's always prided himself on finding more and more creative applications of just these two moves, always pitting them against more difficult opposition to the exclusion of anything else (even often forgoing feats of Nen and base physical strength he's capable of to instead use his magic tricks), and continuing to lean into them so heavily continually tightens the conditional boosts they benefit from. It's basically a more measured form of the kind of weaponized stubbornness that Gon used to suicide himself in CA arc. It may not even technically be postmortem Nen. He's just Becoming the Bungee Gum meme he intentionally and tactically propagated.

Well Hisoka is a transmuter, which means he can use 80% enhancer abilities. So he could be using his enhancer capabilities to focus on healing , especially with his nen possibly being stronger now

Regarding the zetsu part I think he can just disable his nen body parts at will which togashi will probably use up for some messed up gags. His body underneath the nen is already healed but still mamed is all... Regarding the resurrection itself, it works perfectly since nen is motivated by resolve, and hisoka has a ton of that +, he did it in a very Hisoka way, cheating death on a bet laughing, through tickery and his absolute conviction in his status as the goat. Perfect plotwise for the character but also with the lore of hxh.

Maybe since texture surprise is drastically improved its mirrors its replicated medium almost perfectly including any properties it has so texture surprise paper would rip like paper n so maybe he's texture surprised his bones muscles and tendons. Still leaves it functional under zetsu a question mark. The troupe didn't notice he had used it on their fortunes but those were made from nen not necessarily the paper but the writing?? Maybe? Either way the fortunes showing nen with gyo would have been expected. I say this in that they didn't notice it was texture surprise so maybe that's also why they don't notice it now and maybe wouldn't under zetsu

I don't think post morten nen made him stronger more like he got a clash course on his own abilities when he gambled on his revival and is using them with much more ease.

I would like to suggest by the very nature of the plot of of obtaining Angles breath to Heal his dying life. I think we know it is able to heal people outside of getting hurt in the game. As well the game is the real world, and having a power like that is one of the tempting things people would take.

I wonder when hisoka make this pose before his death did he actually stop his lungs and heart with bungee gum.

Isn’t Hisoko’s postmortem a special case? Usually, when we’ve seen it happen or been told that it has happened, the nen is what comes back/stays alive essentially and not the persons body. For instance Pitou (nen comes back alive and controls the body). and the leader of meteor city (his ability is still in Chrollo’s book after death). In Hisoka’s case, he used his ability to restart his heart after death. This makes it so that his body comes back alive as well and retains control of his nen. So this would mean he reaps the benefits of stronger nen as well as control of that nen and his abilities. So he may still be able to hide his presence

im confused why cant he use zetsu the kurta's chains are nen yet he can hide them by focusing aura in there eyes they should be able to see that there a nen user maybe by the glow around there body or light coat of nen around them but then again whos to say a skill nen user couldnt make nen chains an make them appear like a normal chain or use zetsu to make the aura hidden so unless they were just walking around using gyo i think he can hide in well even if there using gyo i think he can still hide well cause hes leveled up his nen that much an is that skilled
