Potiental masterpiece thrown out the window smh

I feel like people are babying the ending because of their personal attachment to the story. I keep seeing people saying "oh this ending didn't ruin the story". but me, I can't rewatch the cool scenes now because I'll just get reminded of where all of it will lead to. wasting a season watching Historia get build up feels like a waste because what's the point of watching her since she's irrelevant. watching Eren talk with Reiner make eren look like the biggest hypocrite in the world, like any moment where Eren is pissed off toward Reiner and Bertholt feels disingenuous because we know that he's responsible of making himself miserable. oh and this whole titan world is all due to one girl and stockholm syndrome, like what a laughable concept, so laughable that I can't even take the world seriously anymore. the world is shitty like this because of the power of love, wow what a concept. No, I will not go along with everyone feeling and I'm going to say my truth, this ending ruined the series. for me to enjoy it again I would have to turn off my brain and enforce amnesia on myself about the ending, and if I have to turn off my brain to enjoy a series, the series has slipped to the level of first and second season Sword Art Online.

Eren is a character that fights, anything to live, any means nessasary. That last chapter was the total opposite. Isayama totally killed his main character... all our main side character felt forced to go against eren instead of fighting with him

Sorry for my bad English well Isayama said he wanted to finish aot fast and in the final Chapter he was so exhausted that he could not even cry he could have put more to Eren that we could understand him better that this scenes don't feel off fore some people and do ingeneral more Chapters well Isayama said the Anime is the final Product so he can change things and explain things better look at the Manga like a Prototype a whole arc in Season 3 was changed by his request

Yes it did ruin it because it invalidates all the main quotes and experiences. Eren saying i was born into this world, tatakae, move forward until 80% of my enemies are destroyed are all meaningless. He kept repeating he would get rid of EVERY LAST ANIMAL on this earth and that was foreshadowed so much that its become pointless when he never even does so. He even says i dont know why i started the rumbling. He doesnt know why mikasa was the "chosen one" and only ymir the stolkholm syndrome girl knows. Mikasa is the most bland character. She only pines for eren and doesnt even have development. Historia is more interesting and its hinted so much that eren and historia are romantically involved before ch 120. The last 2 ch is for the eremika shippers as a fan service. There was even a scene where historia ask eren about her having a baby and its written that eren has only 4 years to live next to it. That hint is so obvious he was the father but isayama ruined it with farmer kun. After destroying 80% we see eren even died in vain cause there was no peace really. The marleyans and eldians still hate each other but now the eldians just have more room to roam around. Thats about it. So many plot holes so called 'fans' cant see. Reiner and annie who should have died dont. They dont regret their actions as we have seen and reiner just sniffs historias handwriting. What a fucking joke. Eren is reduced to an incel and armin lives with his talk no jutsu power over everyone and mikasa is miserable with the bird eren for company. Garbaga......ending.

Great review! Personally this chapter took away so much from the story. It just seems as if Isayama is mocking us. I just don’t believe he wrote 139 when he wrote 1-131 10/10 chapters. I’m just sad and disappointed that 122 mean nothing now 😞

To me, the ending isn't bad. I'm generally okay with the ending that we got. Thinking back in retrospect, the ending mostly works with the knowledge of the story since the beginning. That's just my take, however. Not a perfect ending, but a fairly reasonable one given what came before it.
