Another definition of hypocrite is a person who says things they don’t believe. By that definition it’s possible to not be a hypocrite though if you still fail.

@@jesusrocks256 That sums it up very well. Catholics really are set on works. They believe Christ saves, but need a whole lot of help from them, though they tend to call that cooperation. We believe we are saved apart from works. A person really saved and devoted to God will have works though too. they don't save us, but they are evidence of our faith.

Seems Rosaria is arguing that there is, indeed, a difference. "Am" is a conjugal verb which marries the substance of the subject (you) to the object (your attraction). Saying something like "I feel/struggle with/deal with/am burdened by" is more biblical in that it discusses something that is inside of you (Ro 7, "indwelling sin"), but it is NOT who you actually are. To anyone wrestling with this, as well as anything else that you're tempted to claim as an identity: You are not your sin. You are not your feelings. You are not your interests, hobbies, addictions, attractions, past, present, or future. You are made in the image of God, made to love God, made to be loved by God. How do we do that? We wage war. Fight. Pray. Seek, ask, knock.

If you feel attracted to same sex then you're a homosexual just like I'm an adulterer/fornicator because if i see an attractive woman I will want her, even when I can resist it wears away at me until I get that lust in my heart and have to repent. Now Im older its getting easier but when I was a young man it was impossible because I grew up hypersexualized due to the eastern philosphy mixed with that hippie garbage you know from my parents. SO as early as i can remember i was doing things with girls, boys were also available but I found that gross. I dont know if its different or the same in the eyes of God all I know is I cannot watch two men kiss one another without feeling disgust and I dont apologize for it but I dont condemn either, its not my place but I can tell you that if do something in your heart you have already done it according to jesus.

There's definitely a connection. I remember when we still had prayer in schools. It was a public school, but we started w/ the Lord's prayer. I loved it. Sex education had just started, but it was very basic. It mainly taught about reproduction and getting periods, just the actual basics that people really do need to know. There was none of this trending gay or trans social contagion, because that wasn't pushed. Now it's actively pushed. They claim it isn't, but they get all kids, young kids to question their sexuality and even their sex. It seems special and alluring to be different, because if you're one of the different ones, you get extra attention and validation now.
