@@MrJOTAMOTA The difference between an unintelligent comment such as your comment and an intelligent comment is that an intelligent comment would give support for its inherent claim, while an unintelligent comment offers no support for the claim it makes. An unsupported claim is something the unintelligent vomit because they don’t have the ability to answer a simple question like “Why?”. Your comment isn’t any more intelligent than a child who says: “You are a poo poo head”. BTW - Samson was ultimately correct in his assessment of Jeter, as “The Captain” got his ass kicked to the curb by the owner for being completely and totally incompetent as a team president. So there is that.

Derek Jeter - the Hall of Fame ballplayer - is a Yankee/ MLB legend. Jeter - the Marlins Executive - is questionable, at best! Also, he doesn't seem to know, appreciate loyalty. Just ask Tony Perez, Jeff Conine, Jack McKeon, and - now - Mike Hill. Oh yeah - Mr. Samson, too!

With Hill as the Gm last year the Marlins made the playoffs finally after 17 years. The Marlins downgraded by replacing him and finish dead last this year.

If anyone spent half the time Mike hill spent in an organization and had the results he had they would be FIRED! that's a fact so this guy can get lost

The Marlins are the Marlins. No matter what you try to do to make them better, at the end of the day there's just always been bad ownership. Jeter did everything he could, he lined everything up for him and this is the year you sign Castellanos. They've got a bunch of pitching, Jazz Chisholm is a star, you've got Miguel Rojas playing short. Seems good, like really good, he built a really good team. The minor league organization is great, but it's just time to spend money. "I just feel bad for him because I know how much time he put into that and how serious he took that job and I know he's pissed. Yeah, it sucks, but the Marlins are the Marlins." Cc Sabathia direct quote. Jeter wanted to make it a better organization and took that monstrosity in center field because it was a clown show in the front office including you. The last straw was Jeter wanting players with management saying NO. So it was clear they didn't want to win so he left. You sound bitter AF.

He aint bitter. He made jeter milk the team owner as much as he could on the marlins sale. Thats why he said jeter was his hero lol... With that being said jeter sucks at his job, he is just stating facts.

Yeah, Samson is bitter that he got Jeter to convince the new owner to drastically overpay for the team. Samson played Jeter and ARod off each other to perfection and in the process made a ton more money for his step-father than the Marlins are worth. Sure Samson is bitter that Jeter is an idiot as a team President. Go sell crazy someplace else.
