I've come to find out that when we as christians struggle to make sense of something in the bible. Then it's better to just take a step back and trust God to make sense of it. Yes there is cancer in the world brought on by our own selfishness and there are cures for many cancers and sickness but because of the greed in man’s heart many will continue to suffer.

Because he wanted to be a god. It's a power thing. Just remember that this is Satan's playground. That's why you have to put on the armor. Satan wants to take you away from God. Don't let him.

I think it lies upon the reason that God also had given the angels free will and consciousness. Like, a freedom of consciousness and decisions (as we could see that there were angels who also rebelled and sided with Satan). So I think by having the free will, there's also the knowledge of the good and bad. And by knowing the good and the bad, plus having this inner freedom of consciousness (as in not controlled) there could be the possibility of sin by wanting too much of the good (resulting for Satan's pride, rebellion, and among other sins by the other ones likewise). I also think the factor of emotions/heart/psyche contributes as well.. Like the whole consciousness that the angels have. We know that they also feel emotions and feelings and have a full functioning minds. So.. When we add all of these ideas, even though they're holy ones, they still have these similar characteristics that we have. And they're also creations like us, what makes them holy is because they serve the LORD God face to face and are abiding in His presence. Hence, the Lord made them holy as they are near Him and made them to carry out specific duties. So with the angels being holy, it still doesn't get rid of the fact that they're also conscious beings like us and have the tendency of rebellion. It's just with them it's much much muuuuchhh more strict since they're literally holy and have seen the Creator face to face.

@@Chris-gt2nm makes sense until your last statement that God was stricter on the angels because they saw God face to face. Adam saw God face to face as well and even walked with Him in the cool of the day. Yet we see what Adam chose that affected us all.

It is an unforgivable sin because Lucifer knew about God and the angels, he was already holy, he knew how to do good and still chose to be foolish and perish, along with the angels that fell with him. It's not like he didn't know what he was doing just like 99% of the people today that perish. He knew exactly what he was doing and still chose to do it anyway. That is the ultimate foolish act and that's why it can't be forgiven. Lucifer and those angels can't be saved, they just can't, they are unable to be saved, along with those who reject Jesus Christ willingly when they know everything He's done for us. If someone does such a thing, to know something so good that came from the LORD to him and he still rejects the LORD, he would certainly do it again and he can't be saved. He just can't, because these sins are unforgivable to our LORD. And everything happened out of pride. Lucifer and these angels chose to look away from GOD for once, and this is what happens. They chose this and they knew their choice.

@@bl8680 Oh sorry for not wording that correctly but what I meant was that the angels have a much more firmness and strictness considering that they have a way better understanding and proof of glory, character and confirmation of existence to the Almighty compared to us people, including Adam. Since God had created angels way before He created man and had made the angels higher than us people. Or in simple words, let's just say as an example, you being an angel having a clearer understanding to the character of God and had existed to be near Him, is in much more of a stricter notion compared to Adam who had lesser of an understanding with God and had been with God in lesser time than the angels. Since Adam was made and placed on the earth and not in the presence of the Lord.
