Why Did I Bail? Urban Stealth Camping by a Busy Road

Күн бұрын

I go out to camp near a busy road in an urban location for a stealth camp to try out a new camping set up using a tarp and open bivvy. I cook chicken kebabs on a fire and enjoy the natural bird sounds.
But why do I decide to bail the camp?
If you enjoy Day Tripper and would like to buy some treats for Xiwang please use link below. I really appreciate all your kind support on this journey.

Fair play to you Richard. Lovely spot that and liked your setup with the tarp. I've often thought about trying a similar setup with my Dutch army Bivvy and DD in a plough point. Sorry you weren't feeling it tonight, but I think you did the right thing balling. Time is precious and it's supposed to be fun. If you're wishing you were somewhere else it's anything but that. I've had similar on camps before. ATB Dan

Excellent job showing a mature adult allowing themselves the benefit of their self awareness; there is so much pressure to perform for others "what will my audience think?" yet our moment by moment, sincere heartfelt feelings and values are what really matters. Of course you put a lot of effort into these adventures and filming and editing so know you already do enough for us. And this is excellent role modeling for all viewers to remind us we can stop any activity anytime .. when a movie or tv show is not worth it' when the restaurant or whatever is just not right .. we can actually stop and go somewhere else or home. Thank you and God bless!

Hi mate, bailing is fine. It’s all part of the experience. I wonder if it was the constant drone of traffic in the background played a part in this. Had it been pure sounds of nature I think you’d have stayed.
