This video, a friendly jab, is part of a longstanding and famous rivalry between Yale and Harvard. It was created by Harvard students and shot on their own campus. That's why it's ironic that they're making fun of Yale's campus.

Brizzy Lopez Certainly Top 5 in the Northeast- but how about Stanford, the Claremont Colleges (Pitzer was my safety school in '78), UCB, U Chicago (my Uncle Morris Philipson was the Chair of the Press for 32 years), or- dare I mention my own alma mater... REED? :)

I lolled at "what year was Yale founded." At my first info session (for Columbia), the *salesmen* kindly asked us who wants to hear about history - no hands were raised. They said they'd do a "brief version" which still lasted 20 minutes, during which several walked out. I was a tour guide at my undergrad college - the only history we had to learn was year of founding, and the rest was our testimony and discussing our classes amongst each other. Case Western gave MIT rejects happiness.

I'm perplexed about one matter. Recent articles in The Crimson have informed us that it is more dangerous to attend Harvard than Yale. Harvard and its surrounding Cambridge streets is where you go to get mugged and robbed.

This video was made as a joke, as are most of its kind. The rivalry is all in good fun, although some people take it further than others. The competition drives each school to be better rather than resting on their laurels, which helps to improve the quality of education, campus life, etc., so in a way the competition is actually quite beneficial. If it came down to it, though, I'm sure the two schools could work together if necessary.

I came out of high school with mediocre grades, but went to a small college which offered me almost complete financial aid, and now I'm a first year medical student. Remember people, after you graduate nobody really cares anymore about where you went to college.
