I totally agree. I felt like Terry and Diane kept a low profile in front of their friends. She wasn’t attracted to him and got married out of tradition. I agree she lusted over another man at work and it was obvious mothering wasn’t a priority for her. Yes Angela and Marcus had affairs which I personally don’t agree with but they were the most honest moment by moment. My heart hurt for pat and Gavin so much. It’s the unspoken words that’s scary because honestly she couldn’t talk to Gavin because she knew he was grieving. She felt awful and was stuck in her grief and trying to move forward professionally as well.

I love how this film displayed the various levels relationship can go through. Also you really don’t know anyone. The first movie Gavin was trying to talk to Pat but she couldn’t opening up for whatever reason. That’s frustrating and disappointing which makes sense why Gavin moved on to drinking his problems away. It’s like displayed emotions. They needed counseling , prayer and time to heal individually and together.

Respectfully disagree and offer a different perspective. Diane was cherry picking who to exploit and being an instigator. Diane didn't care one bit about how the truth would have impacted on Sheila discussing it at the dinner table. She could have easily told Sheila on a one to one if she felt that righteous about it, before she does she has to question her own infidelity.
