For 3 yrs I asked Jesus to change someone, the finally I started asking Him to change me, then finally I begged Him to help me forgive and that's when my miracles started.

Actually, this story is a medieval add-on to the gospel of John. It is nowhere to be found in the oldest manuscripts. I think the monk, who invented the story, wanted just to defend Jesus against the suspicion of him being illeterate. Though he probably was.

He was fulfilling the prophecy about himself as it was written down in Jeremiah 17:13 "Lord, the hope of Israel, all who abandon you will be put to shame. For me this is more like Jesus performing (Numbers 5:11-31) a test for adultery. A woman suspected of adultery is brought to a priest and the priest will do a procedure involving holy water, dust on the floor of tabernacle WRITING curses in a book and washing them into the holy water with dust (called water if bitterness) and letting the woman drinking it... if bad happens to the woman afterwards the she is guilty. You notice Jesus us beside the temple at that time of accusation, He is the LIVING WATER then WRITING also on the DUST and he is THE HIGH PRIEST of the kingdom of God and He is a merciful God having authority to forgive sins if one will repent. Jesus is perfect even performing the rituals of old testament.

I have often wondered if Jesus wrote the law they referred to. Because the law says stone the man and the woman and they did not present Jesus with the guilty man.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins And cleanses from all unrighteousness . Sometimes as Christians were following the outward law, we don’t lie, cheat, or still we try not to cuss or watch anything bad. but we forget about the sin of our minds and hearts, and they are almost hidden from us thanks be to God. He showed me my sin of jealousy and greed and strife the need for recognition by the world. It was hidden in my heart and mind. That’s what the Lord wants. Our hearts in our minds.
