Melle Mel will always deserve respect for what he accomplished, but he just didn’t need to even participate in the beef. They have two totally different styles and places in history. Melle Mel automatically wins almost any beef by just letting his place in history speak for itself. He didn’t need to embarrass himself by trying to make a diss track with his 1985 flow lol.

What a backwards way to look at it. Mel dissed Em first called him whack and easy to beat aka calling your mc status out and you portray his defense as the initial attack. Dude is a delusional has been who expected to be called the the greatest from the 70s to infinite without evolving along side hip hop because he did something good 50 years ago. Like it or not, Melle Mel deserves to feel the way he feels. He was there in the beginning. He was in the purest, rawest form of hip-hop, before it became a billion dollar industry. He's one of the artchitects of hip-hop. And he still has bars in 2024.
