I just found your channel today in my recommended videos and it was the one where you guys reacted to Oliver Anthony. I'm honestly happy to see a young couple open to his music and to whats really going on in the world. You two can be a real inspiration to you people if you use your platform to do so. I love that you two believe in God and understand that we must believe and fear The Lord. God bless the both of you. You guys make such a beautiful couple. To see a young couple and especially her being so feminine and soft spoken is so beautiful. Young people today are out there doing the absolute most and its not a good thing. I look forward to seeing you two grow your channel. ❤God bless 🙏

It sounds like to me it shouldn't matter if the woman is making money and being with a man that is making less. Doesn't have to mean the man is less of a man. He could bring something completely different to the relation ship that makes it work. They have to be completely comfortable and trusting, being able to build one another up. Love isn't about the money. Love is about the 2 souls joining together and building the life they want

We definitely need to focus on the BLACK FAMILY. So let's say the BW makes 200k and they have children and collectively they prefer to raise their children in house due to the WORLD and the sick ppl out there so they BOTH decide that he should be the stay home dad and she go get the bag. What is wrong with that? 1. The family is a unit. 2. More revenue stays home instead of paying someone else to raise their children. 3. No-one is hurting for anything. 4. There is a healthy point of reference on what a GOD ORDAINED family looks like..GOD Dad.Mom.Kids. 5. Both are honored respected love cherished as far as the relationship. There is not a dam thing wrong with it. I agree with Perry.
@tamikataylor68629 ай бұрын
I think the point of what Tyler Perry was saying was that love should be the basis of the relationship, not money, as a black woman I understand wanting to be with a financial provider but at the end of the day for me I want a man that provides me with emotional support , acceptance and love 💯💯
@bl14299 ай бұрын
SO,,,,HOW LONG WILL YOU BE HAPPY TO HAVE A MAN THAT GIVES YOU EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, ACCEPTANCE, AND LOVE, WITHOUT HIS SHARE OF THE MONEY COMING IN?
@Childfree3349 ай бұрын
@bl1429 Yep. I betcha he will pretend to be everything she wants until he has her, then that acceptance and emotional support will go right out the window. I see it happen all the time in the BC. They flip the script real fast when they have the woman's bag secured.
@tamikataylor68629 ай бұрын
It’s not about the man not having money coming in, to each his own, I don’t believe that should be the basis for a relationship, everyone has to do what works for them and know what they want in and from a relationship ✌🏾
@bl14299 ай бұрын
@@tamikataylor6862 Then let me move into your place, without giving you anything but emotional, support. When I'm not paying for food, electricity, phone, and whenever I need money, then I'll come to you for it, as long as I give you emotional support? Let's see how long that lasts...

The biggest issue is that women of other ethnicities aren’t raised to go half. They’re raised (for the most part) to make sure the children and the home is taken care of and to not settle for a man that’s barely just getting by 😂

Not everyone’s passion pays the bills (retail/nonprofits/cleanup/security) but everyone has one so he’s right but like honesty, the truth will set you free but first, it’ll piss you off. I’d love a woman that gets paid more and likes to being loved but the taboo of strong independent women is real, as it is double trouble. 😢 Settling is adopting their red flags no matter their support, but healthy marriage is loving them no matter their support, just not their red flags. 😂❤😅

The moral of the story is.... do not say anything against what women believe. My guy had a very good argument. Why direct your comment to men when women are you target audience. However he ain't wanna go against his boo soo argument silenced. Does it make you bum to make less than your lady? She makes $120k, He makes 80k.

Me and my life live by marriage principles. She held me down when I had barely anything . And I maximized the money she gave me. As we are married . . My money is hers and hers is mine . It's ours . Team effort. But as a leader it's my responsibility to make sure things get taken care of ! So often women can be by polar , the have high respect for a rich man but when they break up and they find a man with less they respect less ha . My woman is truly a woman and knows who she is . Ups or downs my wife has respected me the same . Our worth as men and woman should be found in Jesus. Money come and go ha .

I agree with him.. For me all I am wanting in a man is 1. Love the Lord God, worship and praise God in action 2. FAITHFUL/Loyal 3. Employed legally clocking in somewhere just (income) 4. Appealing/attractive- clean cut 5. Down to earth- No alpha ego driven.. If we both work let’s pool it together and pay the bills live LIFE❣️ 🙏🏾praying the Lord bless me with a husband❣️ ** Mr. Perry knows me as a very average woman will not be able to have a man of HIS caliber they don’t make men like him anymore, so for me a average woman, he is saying as long as he is employed somewhere and you are employed put the funds together live LIFE**

Im new here~ I always find it funny when we mirror certain situations it becomes Awkward~ How is it Odd for a Financially successful woman to marry a financially average or sub average man where he has other things to offer besides *Just paying bills... When Men have been doin this for Centuries and now that Women have the *Equality Opportunity and Money like Men they dont see the Values in Us, that we saw in Them that were precious to family values enough that we didn't Care if they could or couldn't provide financially... Once we as a society ReLearn that "You Are Worth More Than Your Bank Accounts" we will see a difference in Relationships Families Communities...🙏🏾✊🏾💯

Equal strokes for equal folks. Money should not be the deciding factor in a relationship. Ambition, drive, passion, loyalty, and commitment. Woman have been fighting for “more” for years, and now we are having these debates over that they now have more we should (a) give them less so the man can have more? Or (b) give men more so they can feel like more of a man. Making it so they have more than their women? This sector of women have fought for what they have. This is their victory. This is their independence. Why is this being see as settling. You can choose your position within the household. No one is asking you to take on a dependent. But 60%/40% where both people are paying their own way as a team, should not be seen as settling or looked down upon.
@dageeman9 ай бұрын
It really gets to me how women spend so much time telling men how to navigate, feel and just exist. That's why women have no idea how to be women. Too busy being their version of men. Money is a tool. Men can adapt to anything. It's not the man that feels anything about a woman paying bills. It's the woman who tries to emasculated men for not paying bills. He feels miserable from her mouth and what she says. And while we are at it, stop this narrative about intimidating men. Unless you can easily beat a man physically, you can't intimidate him. Choosing not to deal with a woman is completely based on her personality and attitude.

A lot of brothers are broken too. It’s sad to see damaged women, but a broken man is pathetic. He knows everything about not making money, won’t listen and dead weight. My ex-wife made more than me only after I helped her get a good job and then she sued me for child support. Then she taught our children to disrespect me while isolating us from each other. She’s damaged and thinks any man she earns more than, is beneath her. She was only a postal worker y’all. Maybe she went postal. I think Tyler Perry is talking to women like her. “Thank You!” for sharing ❤️🖤💚

From what I've seen there are segments of Black women making more than Black men...but overall in the United States is about even when you look at median income

Black women, on average, have more college degrees than black men...but their earning potential is dictated by the type of major (i.e. social work, teaching, etc. has a capped income as city/state workers) so it still comes down to choices/pursuit of skills/niche/marketability/demand for the skills, etc.

More college, less jail....Now you don't need the former, and you don't need to avoid the latter to make money. But on average it influences the stats.

Women should continue to pass up on the so-called good man. If they were really good men, then they'd step up their financial game instead of expecting a woman to help them out. No one is signing up to struggle with Black men anymore.

When she starts saying what makes men happy, it sounds like womansplaining. It would be no different than a man saying a woman can't be happy unless she is well kept by a man. If it's "settling" for a woman to marry a man who makes less, even a lot less, means that any man who marries a woman who makes less is also "settling". To think anything else is sexist. To demand that woman get equal pay, and then also demand that men make more... make it make sense.
@marydoty34959 ай бұрын
Women as a whole group need to get over the dollars and get back to character. Money doesn't buy happiness. It pays the "light bill" but it doesn't keep you faithful, loving, happy, or strong... God Help us🙏💔🌏

In a marriage, everything becomes one. There is no oh well I make more and I have my own money and bank account. Everything becomes one as ya’ll are now ONE unit. You BOTH pay the bills. Not she/he pays most of them and I pay some. Everything y’all do is together as one. People too many times keep the men and women separated in the relationship especially when it comes to finances. And the reason it bothers men is because the man is supposed to be the husband. Translation of the word husband? House band. The husband is what holds the family together

Here are the stats for Tyler Perry: According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics as of Q1 2024, by sex, median weekly earnings for Black men ($935) were 74.6 percent of the median for White men ($1,254). Median earnings for Hispanic men ($914) were 72.9 percent of the median for White men. The difference was less among women, as Black women's median earnings ($887) were 85.3 percent of those for White women ($1,040), and earnings for Hispanic women ($825) were 79.3 percent of those for White women. Earnings of Asian men ($1,679) and women ($1,331) were higher than those of their White counterparts. I know ticket sales are struggling but let’s stop the lies Mr. Perry.
