Disobedience to God

It's all about typology, Moses did strike it twice , Joshua brought the people to the promised land, a typology of Jesus crossing us over to the Promised Land of Heaven.

Moses, in his anger, disobeyed God and struck the rock to get water. He was instructed to speak to the rock to get water but instead he struck it! Because of his disobedience he was not allowed into the promised land. 😮

Because the Rock symbolized Adam. By striking the Rock once, it not only provided water to the people, but also paved the way for the 2nd Adam, the messiah, to come. By striking it twice, it laid a condition that if the people rejected the messiah, Lucifer could attack and even kill the messiah. UNFORTUNATELY, it did. That is why Moses could not enter Canaan.

Muslims do not hate the Jews or Children of Israel. The fact that Jews or Children of Israel are addressed directly so often in the Qur'an should tell us something. Allah wants to address Jews, to give them dawah [the message], to give them the Qur'an, instead of having stereotypes about them. Islam doesn’t allow stereotypes. He raises up and brings down kings and empires according to His will. He uses human agents, even pagan ones, to accomplish His purposes.
