Hey Infographics Show, can you do a video on recognizable smells? My question specifically is like "Why is 'new car smell'"? but I figure there's quite a few of these types of things since smell is the most memorable sense.

Here is the real question. Can Space cure your scoliosis? If the space environment can stretch and straighten the spine what can it do to a curved spine? Can it straighten it out? Countless people including myself have to deal with chronic back pain and live under physical limitations everyday. Our condition improves solely through physical excerise and proper posture techniques. Surgery is availavle for those who qualify for it. I feel scoliosis is very underlooked, it can cause damage to the lungs and heart and if there is a possibility to cure or treat scoliosis with space like environment then this spine treatment may just be curable using alternative techniques.

not permanently though, once they get to earth gravity they are most likely to go back to their normal height. they got taller because there's no gravity pull to compress their spinal disc while they are in vertical position.

That's cos she's hoping people visit her channel. Nothing wrong with that. Although I do think some of the places she visits aren't the ideal audience, since the audience of channels like this one and Kurzgesagt are used to heavily animated videos, while her own are currently fairly light on any additional effects aka a talking head. Still, maybe that'll change. Wish you the best of luck, Katie. :)

One other benefit of space is your hair grows rapidly 3 weeks is 3-4 inches thicker and fuller longer. Even the twin astronauts said that they had to shave their heads 3x as much on the ground. The one twin that stayed longest you can see plenty of daily communication with earth where he has quite a bit of hair on top.

You all should read astronaut Scott Kelly’s post space travel from The Sydney Morning Herald, on how it has been since being in space for a yr and the impact it has had on his body, it’s horrifying and will def make you think twice about your dream of traveling to Mars :( you can have your 3in not worth the damage to your body and exposure to fatal cancers

@infographicsshow, just a small correction. You said that the astronauts' vertebra expand in space due to the lack of gravity, but in reality it is the discs between their vertebra that expand by absorbing more water.

Kinda reminds me of the concept in the anime Planetes. Those born on the moon are taller, but if they fly to earth for a vacation they’ll probably die from the sudden surge in gravity since their body have never adapted to earth’s gravity.
