Great video! I appreciate your transparency. I learned so much about you in this video. Your parents sound like my parents. I left home at 30 years old and my parents didn’t want me to move out! My Mom especially, would’ve been fine with me living at home forever. I admire your free spiritedness! I’ve only lived three places my entire life. And I’ve lived in my house for 22 years. Living in NYC during the pandemic had to have been hard. My Mom had leukemia and dementia, so I moved her in to live with me in the summer of 2019. I got laid off the fall. I had plans to go back to work in 2020, but the pandemic hit. There’s no way I could risk getting my Mom sick, so I didn’t work for three years. And for three years we literally only saw each other, I couldn’t risk anyone getting her sick, so we were quarantined together. While it may sound horrible, it was the best three years of my life. Leukemia won the battle and my Mom passed 18 months ago. The pandemic was a blessing for us because it gave us uninterrupted quality time. Now that she’s gone… I’m so grateful for those last years with her. I look forward to seeing your next move!

Glad you are well and happy! Looking forward to experiencing your next moving chapter with you. I love moving and the freshness it brings as well. The process of moving can be challenging but once you’re in the new place exploring is so exciting. I’ve lived in in different countries Africa, different states in America and now am in London and I love it, but now want to split my time between here and Africa (Botswana). Life is for living and you have to do what your soul calls you to do not what society expects of you (i.e. live in one place for ‘stability’ as if you are a tree planted in a forest).

You hit the nail on the head about travel here being so expensive! I would love for the workers who help with the experience to be fairly compensated but knowing that they probably are not is sad indeed. That’s why overseas travel is so enticing especially with great accessibility in Europe. Wishing you all the best on your journey and congrats on having a great fast!

Hello Rose, thank you so so much for sharing your highs and lows. I felt so sad for you on what happened with the robbery I can only imagine your sadness and feeling scared. But I'm glad you are safe and living with family again. I know it has been your dream for a very long time to live in another country ,sadly now I know it's not London.😢😢😢 It's nice that you took chances travelling and moving around I can tell you this ,there is nothing wrong with that and plus you learn so much. In my opinion I don't think for one minute you are unstable because you keep moving MOVE ALL YOU WANT. Don't worry about what people think they're going to think about it anyways and there's nothing you can do about it because it's not your problem. so just keep going and keep growing.😢 I am so glad that you moved back in temporarily with your family and it's so nice to see you and Abby having fun. Abby is such a little treasure. I have every faith in you that you will find your place in life. I look forward to seeing you in your next adventure so for now keep creating fabulous content and just being you. Best wishes my lovely❤❤❤

Great vlog Miss Rose. I had the same thing happen when I lived in Brooklyn. I loved that apartment but one day coming back from a trip I heard something fall in the bathroom. When I went in I saw two people, a man and a woman trying to break in the window of my bathroom. I was so angry I yelled" What are you doing? " . The lady said, "We were looking for our friend." I slammed the window down on them. After that I knew I had to move out of there. I understand. I'm sure your new place will be wonderful. All the very best. Charles

Girlfriend I like that you travel and discover yourself that is what makes this channel so cool. This is the time to do it. As for Napa my neck of the woods, YES omg oh no you went on the most touristy stuff locals don't do. It is like taking a helicopter rides of NYC or doing the NYC package tours. I lived in NYC for ages so that is what it reminds me of. The wine train is the most expensive thing you can do in Napa and not that lux either for the prices. :/ You should check it out again decide on a few of wineries in Calistoga and Yountville which are the nicest areas where many of the great wineries are. Look at airbnbs and even bnb's there and just rent a car for the wineries. Some airbnb's have incredible views and spas, Literally this is the best time to be in Napa the prices are not touristy prices yet for the high season but the weather is already hot here! In fact the prices are probably the lowest for wine tours of the wineries. There are also great packages. Hotels are also offering GREAT prices with free shuttles to wineries as well. Come back! x There are hot springs spas and natural hot springs that are insane also etc. If I would move I would move to Santa Barbara, Calistoga, or the Yountville area. Also check out Laguna Niguel in Southern Ca. it is pricey but omg. It is called the Beverly Hills of the area. It is where the really rich and famous people of S. Ca. live. but a stones throw from the most beautiful beaches that rival Malibu and there are other affordable areas surrounding it like historic San Juan Capistrano the airport isn't too far away either neither is Amtrak. Amtrak pulls right into beautiful San Juan Capistrano! Forget L.A.! For me L.A. is a touristy place where people work but don't live plus its most of it is gross.(lived there too and part of the family is from there) lol BUT if you want L.A.for events it isn't far from Laguna Niguel driving its like less than an hour away. It is super on trend with "quiet luxury" if you know you know about the area. I would say the prices for apartments are about the same as NYC or a little less depending on areas and sizes. But you get so much more! :D Good luck to you on your journey xx

Traveling is the only thing we spend money on that makes us richer. I love napa so much! cannot wait to go back this year. To me it's like Tuscany of the US. I did not do any of the expensive touristy stuff. Ain't no way I was going to pay $600 to sit in a trolley and drink wine. It was not worth it to me. I got a lot of good recommendations from locals and had a fantastic time. I cannot wait be back I want to see more of California, might be the most beautiful state! I once drove from LA to San Francisco, it was so stunning. I want to see Montecito next, looks beautiful

Rose 😂😂😂. You didn’t know that it rains in London - A LOT? It’s our claim to fame - dreary weather and the Royal Family. If you’d known that beforehand, you could’ve saved yourself a whole move, if you don’t like persistent precipitation and very occasional sun. I’m also sorry you find our accent so irritating. How to alienate your British subbies - let me count the ways! I hope you find your ‘happy’ place soon. 😊☀️

Yes I am very aware it rains there a lot, that's actually one of the reasons I wanted to move there because I don't like sunny days but being there and experiencing the rain every damn day, I couldn’t even wear anything cute. I was over it 😤 I used to love the British accents, I imitated it for so long in my everyda life, people thinks I'm from England sometimes lol 😂 literally all the people I follow on here are English but seeing how much so many Brits hate americans on Tik tok now their accents gives me the ick now

Hey your in your late 30s no kids not married I say do what you want, but as someone who really lived the NYC life in Manhattan not outer Boroughs for 20 years I would never live in NYC at this time its so overrated period. I see so many NY vloggers oh NY is this and that yet they do not even show the city in its light or glory just a few pics outside a plate of food a half part of an event, then they are talking for hours in there apartment for the rest of the vlog smh. I would say at your age you definitely should invest in a place even if you travel more just do it stop throwing money away its time. Monroe Steele did brought a Miami place but still has a NYC place in Harlem she rents (not sure why lol), but she actually spends more time in Miami anyway good luck on your journey wherever you go.

Agreed NYC is not worth it anymore. I cannot believe what has become of NYC. I don't even like to go to the city anymore. I don't feel safe. My cousin lives in Miami, actually most of my family lives in Florida but it's too hot for me 😭

If you decided to live in London be aware it is very expensive manly if you choose to live in exclusive area and safe like kensington and Chelsea. Rents are very high. I own my property i live SW7 on the Borough of K&C. When you come let me know if i can help you and i will sent my phone number. Have a nice Journey.
