I'm Nitin Kumar. Welcome to our KZfaq channel Farzi GYAN.
About This Video : -
Have you ever noticed that there are different colour stripes on milestones while travelling on the side of the road or on the highway?
1. Yellow strips on national highways - if you see a milestone having the yellow strip on the upper part of it, then it is understood that you are travelling on a National highway.
2. Green strips on state highways - When roads are constructed or manufactured by the State then green coloured milestones are used and the maintenance of these roads is done entirely by the State.
3. Blue or black and white strips - If you see a blue stripped milestone or a black and white one, you are travelling in a city or on a district road.
4. Orange strips on village roads - If you see an orange strip on a milestone, you are travelling on a rural road. The orange strip also represents the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
