Well yeah those are people that are known globally and well known in Korea. People like Sofia Vergara, Yara Shahidi, Zendaya aren’t as much like we think they are, so they pick for globally known people. And it’s not their faults if they don’t know many others. Would it be nice if they knew more yes but 🤷🏻♀️. I think the most we can do is request a video for them to react WOC

@@yasminout they have more couple days than Western countries, so guys have to spend more money than with western girls ( Only one year anniversaries, birthday, Valentines day and Christmas )..Plus western girls are more independent than Korean girls ( ex.) they are okay with paying for meals sometimes or dutch paying). Another point is that ( like in the video mentioned) most Western girls don't suspect their boyfriend to cheat when going out with his friends..But otherwise Korean guys aren't used to girls who are wearing clothes that are considered "revealing" in their culture, that western girls are more blunt and that western girls ( young adults) aren't doing secret dating ( hiding one's relationship before the family) and more...

Tbh I feel like many guys want to just hook-up with a foreign girl, but rarely want to actually date her. I feel like I’m just viewed as a “trophy” most of the time and not an actual person. I’m still trying to go on proper dates despite this, but it’s hard. Most guys seem to think that because I’m a Western girl I’ll be easier to hook-up with than a local girl. So it’s a little bit frustrating. I’m not a tourist just here for a “good time”. I’m a student that’s lived here for a year and a half and speaks Korean and wants to actually date someone. 🥺

Just last year I was diagnosed with BDD. Confidence doesn’t happen over night. Sometimes it feels like it does; I’ll have a moment where I feel like I’m the most beautiful person in the entire world, but the next day I wake up and feel horrible. It’s hard for me to pretend I’m confident when my appearance and the way I see myself is holding me back from so much.

Also, need to take into account these big channels are probably based in Seoul. I too find it interesting though. On some level it's understandable but I do wonder why don't they like towards the end of the video start thinking of other countries? Maybe Koreans are only familiar with the U.S. Canada and a few European countries like France, Germany, the U.K., Italy, Spain and Russia lol

Tired of these kind of videos looking and sounding the same. I need these questions to be precise/specific and much deeper. Like; What kind of Western women do yo like? What comes to mind when you hear..., What differentiates white/black/Latin etc women from each other or from Asian women? Why do you REALLY want to "date" them? Is it so you can feel like you're GLOBAL and brag ( to your friends ) about having done so? Do you think Western women are easy? Do you really think Western women & Korean girls are that different or expect the same when it comes to dating? Do you really think that Western women are that confident or open minded? It's obvious that when they hear West they think of the U.S.A. or western women as only white women. The west is a diverse world that does not consist of only the USA and white people. Do the next videos on this topics with Korean men and women asking these specific questions. THX

I was in Korea for a year to study there and I kind of agree. There are many guys that think you are easy and that's why they approach you. Some of them are only interested in the country you are from and probably your looks, but not really your personality. BUT there are also exceptions. I met one good guy in my time there (at university), but it was more luck. We just became friends first and then he asked me out. Even though I rejected him, we are still friends and keep in contact. Most of the other guys disappeared right after I left Korea. The thing is: You gotta be careful most of the time.

I love how Korean thinks that Americans are so open minded, but to be honest that's not true. Some of the regions are yes, but if we see the big picture they are pretty conservative. In my opinion the Europeans are more open minded. I lived in America (north, south) and Europe (Denmark, Uk, Hungary) as well. And even my American friends can't understand why everybody thinks that they are so open minded. I think that's the Hollywood effect. Don't kill me in the comment section. That's just my opinion.

I think my height is average, but some people would say I'm tall... Anyway, once I dated a guy shorter than me and, really, it doesn't affect the relationship that much. The real deal is how you treat each other, if you aren't happy and don't treat each other with respect, have fun and like to be together then why are you dating? (When they said obsessed love I cringed, no love is obsessive) If you are happy, ignore what others might think of you together because that's how you find peace in life. Edit: grammar

i have dated a Korean guy and honestly I love it, it really depends on the person, some Koreans just want to show you off which kinda sucks cuz they don't do it for love but only some ppl but they are cute and soft, the problem is is that they have high expectations, they basically compare you with celebs, which frustrates me a little because it makes me think if I'm even good enough.

Ya'll wouldn't ask this question if you guys had any korean girlfriends. Korean dating culture is very strict and you are required to follow many rules and adhere to many things which foriegn women don't. Dating culture is more go-with the-flow in the west that's what they are tlaking about. It's not just about sex which many of ya'll think.

@@KM-gp2yz Well first off I don't really think that you understand what you're saying...and I wouldn't asked that question anyway because I'm a woman...but I would ask this question because I would want to know what this person means by " foreign women are open minded" nobody is talking about culture in this particular scenario.. they're talking about why they would like to "go out" or "meet" a foreign woman...but they kept on saying phrases like "they're open minded"...my question was simply...what do they mean by that?...do you understand now?
@KM-gp2yz4 жыл бұрын
@@lunna_bluu547 Didn't you understand? Dating a foreign women means you don't always have to give her roses on rose day or white day or carry thier bags (thanfully that is out of fashion now), you can go to a cafe with a foriegn girl without matching clothes and just be spontenous and still be romantic. Korean women have a very set idea of dating and romance.
@lunna_bluu5474 жыл бұрын
@@KM-gp2yz so what... that's the culture...but if Korean men what to meet/date foreign women then they need to be more bold and confident in their approach instead of just being in some sound room or studio talking about it instead of being about it...it's not hard...but whatever.

@@lunna_bluu547 Some do. But for most they don't go out specifically wanting a foreigner as they are only 1% or less in Korea. All the women around them are Korean and so date and marry them mostly. Just like everywhere else. Also language barrier is also something to be thought about.

Im from Germany and i had a korean boyfriend when I was 19, he was actually kinda genuine in the beginning. But I really could tell when he started to lose interest. He became rude and told me to lose weight and if I lost weight I could be an actual model. This kinda stuff. I appreciated his honesty when he had to move a way, Bc he said that our relationship wouldn’t last over the long distance and that he’d rather find a woman in his future area. But that was not a sensitive way to tell me. But overall, the first few months, he was being a good guy.

I know a lot of people are upset that the word Foreigner is often associated with Americans however, in terms of looks American is so diverse I think that's why they refer to people like Emma Watson because they've seen her on mainstream tv. From what I've seem a lot of interaccial couples when it is a white women with a Korean male the woman is often from somewhere in Europe or Russia. Therefore, dont be discouraged! You honestly cant tell someone is American until they speak too so I doubt these guys have an American preference per se. A better title would be non-asian.

South Africa has a lot of different languages and only 11 of them are ranked official. My parents' families speak different languages, so I had to learn both languages, including English to be able to communicate better with others and Afrikaans because of school, from a very young age.
