The people that are able to stand through the pain long enough and consistently enough to develop plantar fasciitis, that’s an insane level of pain tolerance.

I run crispi and a custom insole like sheep feet. Never had an issue for which I’m grateful for.

I had foot pain way before saddle hunting. Born flat footed. Had reconstructive surgery. I don't wish that pain on anyone.

I’m really looking forward to that review. 3rd: On a personal note. Todd Pringnitz was a close personal friend and I was just thinking about him and Katie and Baker a couple of days ago. I started working with Todd on the trade show circuit from the very beginning of wicked before we even had a sheath and wrote music for “The Great Divide “ dvd as a personal favor to Todd. I probably met you at one of the shows and just didn’t know who you were at the time. A friend of Todd is a friend of mine.

I have had plantar fasciitis for about 4 months and it is terrible. I just started saddle hunting two months ago so it has been difficult to do with this pain. This video is a great help and the tips have helped out a lot. Thanks for the info.

I have suffered from Plantar Fasciitis for years and actually tore my Plantar tendon in my right foot. I have iced, stretched, wore sleeping boots, KD tape and had multiple injections. What I have found that helped me with saddle hunting is an angled platform (EOW UP and RDA angled Lookout) paired with Dryshod Viper boots (early season "snake season") and Crispi West River 2.0 (late season). I also take my boots off after hunting and wear crocs (which are great for plantar fasciitis). Great video Greg!

I’m flat footed & I was having knee,foot & lower back pain until I started putting insoles in all my shoes. Look at some of these Walmart stores & they have a machine that you stand on to tell you what insoles you need. If you read on the back of the box of the insoles they tell you what pain they alleviate.

I have some Kenetrek as well. I broke both ankles and have had several surgeries. My left ankle has 2 screws, and my right ankle is fused with 11 screws and 2 plates. I started using the Kenetrek because of the rocker sole. It makes a big difference when walking as it compensates for my fused ankle. I am no stranger to foot pain. I have had my share and still deal with it. Sore feet are difficult because we have to use our feet to get around. It is hard to get the feet to heal when we are constantly using them. One thing not mentioned is to condition the feet in off season by walking a lot. Also to take some time and walk bare footed in the yard as it strengthens the feet. I usually walk at least 3 miles a day and up to 10 miles a day when the weather gets right. People have gotten to accustomed to driving and seating. They get soft and lazy, and the feet get weak and injury prone. Walking keeps the feet strong and healthy.

Missed most of December this year and only got out one day in Jan to scout. By thanksgiving, I was practically house ridden, and Im 5-9 and weigh 170. I’m almost sure it was metatarsalgia due to climbing sticks and ring of steps. It was debilitating……..got a steroid injection and 8 weeks rest and Things are better now, but I’m considering going back to Treestand hunting because of this.

Try standing on the balls of your feet. Almost like you are riding a horse. I’ve found that’s the most comfortable for myself
