I’ve never had garlic in my freezer but the old ice cubes smell like garlic. The new ice cubes always smell fine.

Sometimes I put a ice cube in my mouth and it tastes like chlorine straight from a pool, just like how it smells

I have a Frigidaire fridge with a top freezer with ice maker, I had a new icemaker installed three weeks ago and that thing is super slow compared to the original, the repairman said it was an aftermarket one. Should I have stuck with a OEM part?

The ice cubes taste like chemicals. Is a new waterline and new icemaker on a Samsung fridge with ice maker in the freezer and not the door. Dumped multiple ice buckets already. What can be causing this awful taste. Very strong.

Same here. I actually got a new dishwasher and they had to replace that line and they had accidentally cut the wrong line which was the one that went to the refrigerator for the ice maker. So they had to replace that one. Ever since I have had funky chemically ice cubes. I have been dumping the ice out for over a year now and it's still doing it. I just assumed that dumping a few would get it out and maybe it was just being stubborn and I did a few more and a few more but it's still doing it! It was fine before they put that new line.

Yeah me too. I got a new fridge LG nice one and I dumped like 10 trays and the ice make in the door same amount of times. Taste like plastic or chemical. Fucking disappointing
