People dislike passive players for quite a simple reason. People play to have FUN! (I know shocking) so when they encounter somebody who just waits, it becomes a lot more boring. I've recently been trying to counter passive players by being passive myself, but I often find myself waiting around with nothing happening which leads to me quickly becoming bored. If you're aggressive, both of you can fight and enjoy yourself, two passive players against each other, there practically isn't a fight. However, on the flip side if there's two aggressive players against each other, there's a fast-paced fight with a ton of action, just in general leading to a more enjoyable time. (Didn't mean to write a paragraph xD)

the answer to the question is because, if the aggressive tries to play their way and the other does the complete opposite just ruins everything for them. It's like ruining a mood basically, I've come to hate passive players before and i asked myself if im just being stupid for feeling that way. I came to the conclusion that it was because "why isn't he playing a bit aggressive like are they a sweat hard?" now thats just a deeper way of thinking about it on why people come to hate it.

when playing against passive while you're aggressive, mostly aggressive players has good tricks for also aggressive players so they use aggressive tricks such as baits, god parry and other stuff so it wouldnt work out when playing against passive players since they are very patient and will see everything you think they would fall into. this is just a example of fighting noobs their so random and you think you're pro tricks and aggressive behavior will work, it does but sometimes..

Passive players are the mix of runners and turtles. They are simply the most annoying player you can find. for example. A runner wont know what to do when they're caught. A turtle has no sense of what an m1 is. But passive players just wait, run and punish. Over and over.

For me, it really depends on what character I play. If I play saitama, garuo, or genos. I am usually mad aggressive due to their quick m1 speed. But with metal bat, and atomic samurai. i play a little more passive because of their slow m1 speed. (and by passive I mean side dodging away from front dashes or spamming counter). so yea, if you encounter an overly passive player, use a character that can quickly close the gap. (and everyone wonders why I love sonic)

Passive lore: Hold S+F and wait till people dash to them 💀 💀 They will wait till the opponent attack or the opponent just give up 💀 Weak against “good” spammers like genos since they can just block break and run away (but who would like to become a spammer to kill a passive player aka no fun)

Technically passive ISNT running. It's reading your opponent waiting for them to make a bad decision and maximizing your decisions off of it. Playing off of another person's mistakes instead of fighting past it. In a sense aggressive people do the same but instead of waiting for the slip up. They create the slip up

i usually play passive against passive players or against runners

Passive game style is same as running, but instead of running u staying still and doing nothing

people hate passive players simply because its a good playstyle and its hard to counter thats pretty much it

being passive makes the other playstyle go down in power, everytime i fight a passive person i go down in power by a lot, probably because theyre not like most of the people you face and that makes your brain go kaboom.

That's the only way to play if you can't master side dashes and spin tornados around your enemie's block

Passive vs passive is literally just hold F. Nothing happens because there's nothing to punish

so imagine if everyone was passive that would mean nobody would fight and its basically the same reason if 1 person is passive and the other is agressive then the passive person will win half of the time because they can just stay back and never get hit

One reason its annoying to catch up or try to land a hit also from my perspective your not passive kinda but very defensive +passive as if you dont wanna let the opponent land a hit its just annoying to fight Being passive basically means waiting for a perfect opportunity to land a hit or start a combo but since your using garou and being passive it makes me lose some braincells it would make sense if you were saitama 💀

i think people hates passive players probably because of the upper hand of being one, literally gaining a strategical advantage in most face-to-face combats also being passive lets u observe your opponents as well as giving you a chance to adapt to other players not only that but fighting passively gets u to punish others' flaws with them cant tackle it ive fought many pros before and being passive just straight up ez win

because people don't like fighting a guy for 20 minutes because he just won't engage. at some point it isn't even being passive its just being annoying. also you said it yourself, you know its unskilled asf. you lost every 1v1 where you played aggressively (although this could be contributed to you not knowing how to properly aggress) and won every 1v1 where you played passive. its just a very boring playstyle to engage with that half the time people just don't wanna bother with you.

i have no idea who you are and i still hate passive players so it's not bc of any vid of yours, it's just super annoying to fight bc if you're aggressive you cant win and if you're passive the fight doesnt go anywhere
