Even though our 2 year relationship ended because of a mistake I made and feel sorry for everyday, she still chose to forgive me and we still love each other so much even after all these years. I know the story and its not relevant to what happened in the 90s I know there are serbs in Bosnia and they werent happy when Bosnia wanted to be independed either. Serbia invavded Bosnia, wanting to cleanse the country of its muslim population. How or why there are muslims in Bosnia is irelevant. It doesnt change what happened, and it doesnt change the fact that Serbia was at fault for what happened

Serbs like most nations on the planet also have a dark history; The recent 90s Yugo wars in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo left a negative legacy which makes them targets of haters. Serbia is very much divided as a country over these wars, not to mention various Serbs within the Balkans who don't always share the same ideology. The wars them selves were a tragedy not just for the brotherly nations Serbs fought against, but for various Serb groups who in some cases became displaced as a result.

Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovenia: what do they have in common? They were part of the same country, Yugoslavia. A country that aimed to unite people that shared common traditions, culture, language, and most importantly wanted to be free. Unfortunately, one element imported by the West ruined everything: fascism 2.0, fueled by German and US money. While people that used to be brothers were fighting a stupid war, their so-called leaders were spending holidays together (i.e. Milosevic and Tuđman). If you, as part of these so-called countries - as they are all puppet states of somebody - hate one of your brothers, you don't deserve any respect.

You can easily check and what you'll find is that the Yugoslav Partisans were ethnically diverse and not only Serbs fought for them; Croats, Bosniaks, Montenegrins, Slovenes and Macedonians were also Partisans. Albania also had a large anti-Nazi resistance movement. So what you're saying is actually BS.

Even though partisans were ethnicly diversed, Serbs were majority and only Serbian territory was partitioned by German allies Croats, Bulgarians, Albanians and Hungarians. Belgrade was destroyed to the ground while Croatian capital welcomed Germans with flowers (literal footage exist). Anyway, you probably know all this, you are just shameless, so this is for others who don't know.

@@d.rankovic Serbs were the majority at the very start of the war but this diversified later in the war. From 1943, the Serbs made up about 45% of the Partisans, while Croats made up 30% (according to Tito himself), while Croats made up 23% of the entire population of Yugoslavia, but made up almost 1/3 of the number of Partisans. Croatia was divided between the Italians, Hungarians and Germans too, so what's your point? Both Croats and Serbs fought bravely for the Partisans against the Nazis and in large numbers. Why does everything have to be an immature dick measuring contest with you Serbs? Belgrade was the capital of Yugoslavia, of course it would be a military target. Some Croats welcomed the Germans as liberators because of how the Serbian Monarchy dictatorship treated Croatia in the interwar years (Stjepan Radić etc). The same scenario happened when the Germans entered Ukraine, the Baltic States, Eastern Poland and parts of Russia. They were welcomed as liberators at first, but attitudes later changed. Only a couple of months after "welcoming the Germans with flowers", Croat Partisans in Sisak (50km from Zagreb) started the first anti-Fascist uprising in all of Yugoslavia against the NDH. So clearly the popularity of the Ustaše wained very quickly.

@@thejosh3855 We all have our opinions about history so I will be short. - About Radic murder (which I condemn), should I retort with Croats involvement in king Alexander's assassination (whose actions btw indirectly helped Croats get Dalmatian coast, avoiding the war with Italy)? Don't go there. - In WWII partitioning, you compare same Dalmatian coast that Italians took (and gave you Bosnia) over what was done to Serbia and it's territory? Seriously? - About the uprisings, a lot of them happened here. The only difference is the retaliation was much more severe in Serbia. Germans had a rule for every dead soldier 100 Serbs were to be executed. They never had a rule like that for Croats and you know that. - It's not about dick measuring, it's about respecting the dead and the past. You can have your fun at this negative image of modern Serbs in the West, just don't disrespect Serbian past/history, that's all.

@@-erijonarexhepi31 In the 90s, there was a war on the territory of the former Yugoslavia, i.e. in Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia.Crimes did happen and all these countries suffered great losses and suffered great victims. In general, Serbia had the largest number of victims and what the Serbs did to others, others did the same to them. It was a war and a terrible time for all people from these countries! It's sad to even remember those times and it's not pleasant to talk about that topic here.

Its easy to understand why people hate serbia. Started all wars on the ballkan, lost all of them. Commited war crimes, instead of apologizing, it denies and celebrate those crimes. As a Serbian, a lot of people (mainly Americans) tend to dislike us because of our strong relationship with Russia and I think a few other things which I’m not really sure about. A lot of times people will call me a Putin worshipper or war criminal or something along the lines of being Russian. This is from my experience’s when I visited the USA so i’m not too sure why people hate us

They don't like Serbia because Serbs are Orthodox Christians. Hardly any neighboring country will hear that they hate Serbia except Albania. Because of the war the Albanians started and what they did to the Serbs. Serbia was bombed by 16 countries, but Serbia was not attacked by any of them. Do you know that Sulejman Imamovic, a Danish citizen originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, was arrested in Belgrade a few years ago because he caused trouble in an airplane and cursed Serbian mothers because the airplane was supposed to land in Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but because of problems he had to land in Belgrade, and that same Sulejman was arrested and they found that he has his grave in Srebrenica and a number, and he lives in DENMARK. Half of those graves are empty, people who have their graves live abroad FREELY. What did Naser Oric do to the Serbs in Potočari and Kravica from 1992 to 1994? Eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth !

Serbs got a taste of their medicine when NATO and other countries got involved. Serbs reject Sribrenca and say that nothing happened. They consider Ratko Mladic as a hero when he was a war criminal. Serb seem to have problems with all their neighbors? Even today they support Russian aggression in Ukraine. They are aggressive people. I see little problems in Albania, Croatia. Only serbia has problem. Your government is full of propaganda. There is countless proof of Serbian genocide in bosnia.

If these are people from the Balkans, if they show hatred towards Serbs, then the main reason, i.e. the main culprit, is the Vatican, Vienna and London. And as far as European nations are concerned, the reason is propaganda, which has greatly intensified since the 1990s.

I don't hate, as hate is a strong word, but I lived the aftermath of their war crimes against Muslim of Bosnia in the eighties as I am from Egypt and we encountered some refugees at the time I am not familiar with the situation now and I am not against them from race point of view. Nobody is inferior or superior to anyone, we are all equal. The only thing to distinguish between people is through their actions

They did a lot of war crimes through there history. Not just the war crimes in the 90ths but also from 1900s. For example they glorify puplicly the genrels who gave the command for the massacred 8.000 of people in a few days in bosnia srbrenica. But to be fair i think a big portion of the serbians are not ultra nationalist but just normal balkan people who are welcoming and familiar people.

This could be why , Bela Crkva massacre - 62 known victims. Orahovac massacre - between 50 and 200+ ethnic Albanian civilians. Dubrava Prison massacre - Serbian prison guards killed more than 70 Albanian prisoners. Ćuška massacre near Peć on 14 May 1999 attributed to the Jackals and other Yugoslav paramilitary during the Kosovo War.

When i was 14, i used to live in another balkan country (im from Serbia) to go to high school. So i was bullied for racism, i was punched or kicked everyday. I tried to ask my parents to change school, but they told me to finish high school, so i obeyed. But everyday and morning. My throat was like among thorns, my hair were covering my eyes because i didn't wanted to see anyone. I couldn't even see or touch my self. I felt fragile like paper to cut. So one day i've got enough of my self and them (that people who hurts me everyday) after school, so like everyday they were following me, i bringed them to a lonely street then i stopped, i acted to be ready to get hurt. Then when they started to, i jumped over them and started to punch them hardly with anger and i couldn't stop until they were bleeding badly. When i stopped i looked at them and they looked like. Like. lik dead. So i ran at home and said everything to my parents so they immediately changed me school and everyday i started to wear masks after that my new classmates were giving me compliments because they thought i wanted to be cool or wanted to be a rapper like Pj Glizzy's raps. I didn't know what they were meaning, but i let them. I just didn't/don't want anyone to know why i was like this. I felt. Like . Stabbing others and my self. (About that people that got hurt, were actually fine, they didn't told anybody, they told that they went in a strict and small tunnel and got the head against walls very often, so after they got out they stopped on a street and forgot about me. But i still don't know.)

Me and my grandma took a trip to serbia. We went to the doctor cause my grandma had to take blood to see her immunity system. She needed 500 dinar, but she had none. She accidentally whipped out loud "oh no, i have no dinar!" And she got embarrassed. After a minute, 3 people she never met agreed to say "heres 1000 dinar, thank me later. You look like a nice grandma anyways." She was happier than ever. After that, me and my family went to serbia to live there. Its so nice there. Remember, hating countries for political things is wrong. Focus on beauty, money, and kindness. Those 3 together are gonna give u a great country.

This is a true fact - When Yugoslavia was breaking apart multiple lobbying agencies offered their services which were including propaganda and news coverage to all conflicting parties, only Serbias government refused to pay, and thats when it all started and todays international view of Serbia is a decaying bias from the past.
