What do Charles Darwin, Michael Jordan, and Yoda have in common? They, like many other historical and fictive individuals, are bald. Scientists have long pondered, why do some people lose their hair, and how can we bring it back? Sarthak Sinha explores the basics of baldness.

You can also go bald by doing 100 pushups, 100 sit ups, 100 squats, and a 10k run every day for 3 years.

I'm 22 and I shaved it all off. I have no gf and my body is still out of shape for now. Life goes on as usual for me after months of struggling to accept my fate but eventually I just have to do it cus I can't stand seeing myself being dreadful and unkept for too long. People who knows you might probably laugh at your appearance, you might be judged as a creep or a crimina.l But all of those things that people say to you does not define you IF your heart and conscience is at a right place. Always love yourself, take care of yourself, eat healthy and exercise for your well being. You only have yourself to overcome problems in life. It's just how it is.

Finally, I managed my white flakes on the scalp and hair fall. First, Put on hair oil and let it overnight or at least an hour for it to work. Step 2: Wash it off with shampoo. Next, Apply conditioner that you prefer to the roots of your hair. I used a mild and natural hair fall control kit by littleeextra cococonion for these steps as it's mild and natural, and is considered gud for reducing hair loss. If you have dandruff, apply lemon juice on your scalp minimum once a week before shampooing and rinse it out after an hour or so.

I used to stress so much about going bald that I used some shitty drugs and topics . Then I got cancer...lost all my hair due to chemo. In that period I didn't used any drugs to maintain my hair, so after a chemo no hair (that was thinning due to male pattern baldness) grew back. I was happy to be alive. After didn't stress at all about the hair. Life is way better now. The pure act of an acceptance of your self as you are is just powerful. It can take a while to get there (some people never get there though), but it's worth it. And in the end you realize that it's nowhere near as important as you initially thought it was. Does one look better with hair? Yes. But! The fact is, it's just one of many aspects in man's life. I find my self way more attractive now being more polite, educated, better sense of humor, relaxed and just having fun. Thing is that appearance in general just doesn't tell the whole story. It's the most obvious thing at first sight and that's why most people are so sensitive about it. The key is to accept yourself, BE YOURSELF. These are the true foundations for your future and will determinate your love life, friend life, family life and professional life.

I had hair fall problem since I was 18, I'm 21 now, I lost too many hairs but now suddenly my hairs have stopped falling in fact they have gotten stronger somehow, I haven't had a haircut from last one year and since they used to be weak I didn't touch them much, natural dreadlocks are formed and idk as I told you they have gotten stronger somehow. Maybe not touching hairs, being too gentle on them, shampooing them thrice a week and oiling them atleast once a week has worked for me. Also I joined the gym last year, that may have helped hairfall, too. I'm no expert, these things worked out for me so I wrote.

I've seen people say things similar to this so many times. See as unfair as it is that famous people get paid more that people who do more to contribute to society, the reason they get paid more is HOW they get paid. A lot of people get paid either by the government or by private systems when they do their jobs. Those sources, for good reason, don't want to spend too much money unless their guaranteed a large payout. It is different for celebrities because they get a lot of their money from endorsement deals, appearances, merchandise, and in some cases direct funding from an audience that wants to see more of them. Scientists really only become super rich if they discover or invent something that they get a strong patent on so that it can't be copied.

I started balding at the age of 19...never gave a damn about it. Many people started to noticed but it didn't bothered me. Now I shave my head every 3 days and I feel confident AF. First week is the hardest because of all the jokes you hear about your "shinny head" but after that everything is coolio. Some of my friends told me that they envy me because I had the ballz to shave it and believe me, grow a beard and you will look as badass as kratos!

I'm not sure if this is just some kind of spiritual journey made by a hair, as if they're just pilgrims of some sort. In that case they should move back home when they're done exploring themselves. I went bald when I was 16/17, now I’m 23. I literally didn’t know going bald was such an issue to people. It was then that I heard people would feel sorry for me but I was never and am never sad about being bald. I feel like it is masculine and with a beard looks dope af. I would honestly not want any hair and am looking into literally lasering all the excess hair I still have. MEN, BE CONFIDENT! I still get lots of attention from women-they are most of the time more attracted to confidence than hair. Just like men usually don’t ONLY like girls with a certain trait, they don’t either. And also, people have different preferences as to their partners. It’s all good, you can look bomb af, masculine and confident being bald. Maybe easier even 🤷🏽‍♂️

Damn y'all comments are way stronger than what I'm going through I'm 17 and currently having a receding hairline, it has been this way for a while and it all came with some terrible life effects. Well I'm still in school and I usually find it hard to communicate with strangers cause of the fear of having them look at me beyond my eye level instead of having a straight eye to eye conversation.. I'm always fearing bout what runs in their minds each time people look at me that way, which is why I usually avoid it but it also came the fact that I'm now antisocial because of it.. I don't know but each day I hope and sometimes pray for a miracle to just happen maybe someday. I feel for my confidence💔

I am 17 too, it started for me at 15 and man it sucks, I have the same thing with social anxiety and it made me socially more awkward than I already am, it's by far the last thing I needed in my life But there is treatment, do not wait! Get on Minoxidil and Finasteride or Dutasteride if needed, discuss it with your doctor! I was on Topical Minoxidil for a year and the growth was just amazing but sadly I had to stop because I'm sensitive to it(which is extremely rare by the way, so you don't have to worry and the side effects all went away after I stopped) And I started Finasteride and Dutasteride, combined treatments and now I'm noticing growth finally again after I lost my Minoxidil gains So start them, you got this! I will send you a comment I wrote after this one in case you're interested to know more about hair loss Keep in mind that I'm not a doctor so take everything with a grain of salt

It's an intresting fact that Eunucs donn't go bald but have such increased hair growth rate that they'd shave their heads. That was the ancient cure for baldness..... having one's wedding tackle removed!! As any doctor will tell you, the fact is that being "well hung" = excess DHT = male pattern baldness..... one of Mother Nature's cruel jokes on men.

there is no evidence that bald men have more testosterone than full headed men, the amount is the same, but one is more resistant to DHT than the other

It was noticed and commented on, even as far back as Roman and ancient Greek times, that Eunucs grew hair on their heads at an unnatural rate compared to "tackle equiped" men. Women are able to retain longer hair folicles due to lack of DHT and Eunics also share this trait. As a cure for baldness castration is one option that men have always avoided.

Andy Reid Women's hair and skin is inherently different, even when women go bald they don't bald in the same pattern men do. Women need two copies of the baldness gene in order to go bald, the genes that cause baldness have nothing to do with DHT levels, the reason these genes cause baldness is because they affect the sensitivity of the follicles against DHT, if your follicles are very sensitive to it, even the average amount of DHT a female produces will make you bald.

I started noticing my receding hairline and hair thinning at 25. My hair was so thin, you can easily see my scalp through my hair. I started using finasteride and it’s helped a little bit but my hair still isn’t as thick and fast growing as it once was. I have a friend of mine that recommends me to try her method of using a dermaroller along with castor oil and aloe Vera, and if I don’t have aloe Vera oil to at least use avocado oil because it can come with certain vitamins that promotes hair growth along with thickening my hair. I’ve just recently started last week and I haven’t really noticed too much besides feeling my hair a bit more thicker and shinier but that may be due to the castor oil I use. Let’s see if it goes well!

That's a good suggestion, and one backed by science. Just don't use Castor oil directly as it is too thick and can clog pores. Always mix it with some other carrier oil like coconut oil and you're good to go. Good luck!! 😃👍

To treat alopecia/bald spots/baldness/ receding hairline, put a couple sprigs of rosemary and a handful of cloves in a container of boiling hot water and let steep overnight, strain and place in a spray bottle. Use it on your problem area/whole scalp for growth. Refrigerate the rest to preserve, it really worked for me, might work for you too, and I've tried things like minoxidil.

I've accepted the fact that i have genetically premature balding but the thing is if i do try to wear a cap/hat regularly i feel like that just shows that i feel really insecure about balding, and if i don't wear some form of headwear i feel really insecure so it's like this constant psychological loop
